The number features dancers Jōvan Dansberry, Karli Dinardo, Daniel Gaymon, Carlos E. Gonzalez, Ashley Elizabeth Hale, Marc Heitzman, Jolina Javier, Yoori Kim, Robin Masella, Ilda Mason, Janayé McAlpine, Michael Munday, Julian Ramos, Ryan Steele, Khadija Tariyan, and Charlie Williams.

The original song portions were written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the Tony Award winning composers of "Six." The number was orchestrated by Alex Lacamoire, the Tony Award winning orchestrator of "Hamilton." Patrick Vaccariello conducted the orchestra. Track elements were created by Will Wells. Not to be confused with the cinematic classic starring Judy Garland that would follow six years later, this animated short film is one of countless other celluloid adaptations of L. Frank Baum's best-loved story, The Wizard of Oz. Directed by Ted Eshbaugh, the Canadian film features no dialogue and tells the story of Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, and Tin Man's adventures in Oz with a mix of black & white and color animation.

DJ (Columbus Short), an amazing underground street dancer, hasn't been in college for a day before he's entranced by a lovely co-ed, April (Meagan Good).Working as a gardener to pay the bills, DJ doesn't fit in with the wealthier students around campus, but one thing does catch his attention -- the rival fraternity competitions known as "stepping." With April's help, DJ learns about the legacy and heritage behind the fraternities and decides to join up. Now part of an official step group, DJ must balance rehearsals, work, and school, while at the same time winning the heart of the girl of his dreams. With the National Step Championship drawing closer, DJ must learn to stop dancing as an individual, and to start stepping as part of a team.
