Raviasamin opens the seal: a curse of serpents, stones, and silence torn apart. Within _Ashspawn,_ violence becomes revelation, grief becomes transformation.

Built entirely without generative tools, every element was first created by hand before being reconstructed within Unreal Engine. Belial, rendered from Jose Gabriel Alegria Sambogal’s artwork, and the hand-drawn qlippothic tree form the video’s central symbols.

Raviasamin is the first track taken from 'Ashspawn', the new album from occult black metal titans Enthroned.

Julius Caesar (100–44 B.C.) rose from a patrician family to become consul, reformer and Rome’s most celebrated general. We had neither the budget nor the heart to break a working piano. We gave it one very last moment to shine.

"This song is exactly what I imagine a lot of people expected of us to put out. We took all the heaviest stuff we had, to create this incredibly dark, high-stress/tension song. I personally think the breakdown at the end of this is one of my favorites that we’ve ever written and I’m excited to see how people engage with this one.

The lyrics for this song are about my family and our history of dementia. The idea that the world is falling apart, and about the fear of losing touch with reality. “They’re coming to get me” is my way of personifying ‘demons’ or something that makes you feel like you’re losing pieces of yourself. "The working title for 'Dancing Shadow' was 'Disco Tiger.' Musically it represents catchiness and hooks that have been familiar elements within our music for a long time. Sound-wise it came out pretty fresh and even modern. I bet this song will shake your legs on the dance floor - in a METAL disco, of course," states guitarist Esa Holopainen.

Drummer Jan Rechberger adds: "With 'Dancing Shadow,' we stepped into completely new territory. For a band with over three decades behind us, that kind of reinvention feels meaningful."
