Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears deliver a fast-paced bluesy number in “Five Dollars.” Telling the time-old tale of skimping on a five-dollar cover, yet indulging at the bar, Lewis’ lyrics tell it like it is backed by raucous guitar riffing and a brisk vamp throughout. Coming into Color Red Studios was the perfect respite to lay down the no-nonsense track and escape the hustle and bustle of hotels and tour life. The track comes ahead of a hefty U.S. tour with plans to release more music over the course of the year.

Artist Quote: Had a great time recording "Five Dollars" at the studio, the studio was a nice oasis from the hotels and craziness of tour. We'll definitely come back.
