This story is a about a man named Raymond yu, known professionally as China Mac. he is an American rapper, entertainer, activist, and former gang member. You may know or may not be familiar with him, but he is one of the few who was born into gangsterism. Let’s start with his dad, who’s choices would influence china mac to basically turn his back on his father forever. Michael Yu, a.k.a., Wuhlei, which is translated to Fox, in Cantonese, is a former Chinese-American gangster and member of the Flying Dragon’s gang from Chinatown, N.Y.C.. Yu was underboss in the Flying Dragons under Johnny Eng, a.k.a., Machinegun Johnny (or) Onionhead.

M.C Jin, he is an American rapper, songwriter, actor and comedian of Chinese descent. Jin is notable for being the first Asian American solo rapper to be signed to a major record label in the United States. He is only a couple of month’s younger than china mac, and was born and raised in Miami. Jin's big break came in 2002 when the BET program 106 & Park invited local rappers to compete in a segment known as Freestyle Friday. After winning seven battles in a row, he was inducted into the Freestyle Friday Hall of Fame. The night of the ceremony, he announced that he had signed a deal with the Ruff Ryders Entertainment label. During this time, china mac was locked up in on a 3 year bid. Hearing and seeing jin made him feel a bit slighted, but also gave him hope. He knew he was in the streets for real, and was definitely authentic. It wasn’t an image for china mac, he was hip hop. He would come home from prison sometime before the summer of 2003. On November 10th, 2003, china mac decided to go to a spot in china town, club yellow. This spot used to be called new genies and had been known for heavy gang activity. That night, jin was in attendance.
