Depeche Mode: ‘Memento Mori’, Songwriting, & Humble Beginnings | Apple Music
Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, and Vince Clarke were young kids from the small town of Basildon, England before becoming the band known today as Depeche Mode. Their fifteenth studio album, ‘Memento Mori’, reminds listeners that everything ends...but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Ahead of the album's release, Depeche Mode sits down with Zane Lowe to reflect on their journey from kids to music legends. The two share that with the help of Daniel Miller from Mute Records, they were able to become one of the most influential bands to arise from the 80s. They also share that this new album will be supported by a world tour, trekking across 75 countries.
