Descendants: The Rise of Red, a Disney Original Movie is now available on Disney+

It's no big news that Disney's ever-evolving Descendants franchise has clocked a wealth of superb songs since its inception, and it's no big news that the artists/actors who brought these tunes to the screen have helped sell them to an audience who adores them. When performed charismatically, superb pop will always triumph. 'Descendants: The Rise of Red,' a Disney Original Movie currently available on Disney Plus, continues this parade of great songs, and "Red," by Kylie Cantrall and Alex Boniello is its latest home run. It's no wonder Cantrall can tickle her fans. She's a young pro who starred in 'Gabby Duran & the Unsittables,' and played Dani in 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.' And of course she wowed everyone playing the role of Red in the Descendants franchise. We invited her into our L.A. studio for romp through "Red," and her performance reminds that she's an OG when it comes to making a lyric come to life and working the camera to sell the song.
