Laufey "From The Start" (Live Performance) | Genius Open Mic

Laufey is back at Genius to perform her hit song “From The Start,” which has been streamed more than 191 million times on Spotify to date! The hugely popular song is off Laufey’s most recent album Bewitched and it was produced by Spencer Stewart along with the Reykjavík, Iceland native herself.

The singer-songwriter, who recently appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series, spoke with Genius about the single's success earlier this year. “Maybe it's a sound that [people] haven't really heard before," she said. "I think it’s also the brutal honesty of the lyrics...I think a lot of people have felt that way before.”
