Outkast: From ATLiens To Aquemini

The year is 1994 and Outkast would drop their debut album. The album received praise with The Source magazine being an example giving southernplayalisticadillacmuzik 4 and a half mics out of five giving it between a slammin-definite satisfaction and hip-hop classic rating.

A year later Outkast would appear at the 1995 Source Awards and Andre would make a statement upon winning the best new rap group award. He would say that The South where Outkast was from had something to say. It ended up being a huge moment in rap and hip-hop history and if people were sleeping on their debut album they would end up being wide awake when in 1996 Outkast would drop their sop****re album ATLiens.
