Born in Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Edward van Halen was the son of Jan van Halen and Eugenia van Halen.

Formed in Pasadena, California in 1972, Van Halen are considered to be one of the foremost rock n roll bands that pushed the rock n roll genre forward throughout the 70s and 80s. Eddie Van Halen was known for his crazy riffs. Infectious smile and party attitude. Van Halen were a band that made millions of people worldwide crazy for rock and metal.
