đ¨âđ¤ LYRICS đ¨âđ¤
I feel fucking fantastic (fucking)
Hurray hurray
Thereâs a light in the atticÂ
Sunshine on my brainÂ
Today is the greatestÂ
But I donât know what day it is
it FEELs GOOD
SO GOOD
To sayÂ
Iâm OkayokayokayÂ
Higher than low right now
Just back from bottomed out
Wrong combination of the right pills
Paid good money for a cheap thrill
No Post card from the trip I took
Rum rings on a self help book
The bus from the city to the Bright side
Got No blues on the red lineÂ
No shit I just woke up like thisÂ
I feel fucking fantastic
Hurray hurray
Thereâs a light in the atticÂ
Sunshine on my brainÂ
Today is the greatest
But I donât know what day it is
it FEELs GOOD
SO GOOD
To sayÂ
Iâm Okayokayokay
So bless so blesss make ya wanna say
Good god gotta vibe like a Sunday morning
Been Soaked to the bone
Been pourinÂ
My umbrella gotta hole
Like the one in soul
But the bells gon toll
Gotta get it while hot
Before I go cold
No shit I just woke up like thisÂ
I feel fucking fantastic
Hurray hurray
Thereâs a light in the atticÂ
Sunshine on my brainÂ
Today is the greatest
But I donât know what day it is
it FEELs GOOD
SO GOOD
To sayÂ
Iâm OkayokayokayÂ
đĽ ABOUT BLAME MY YOUTH đĽ
Blame My Youth is Sean Van Vleetâ a name you might not be aware of, but have unknowingly heard in your headphones, a store or on a television. As a former principal songwriter in indie faves Empires, Van Vleet expanded into the world of songwriting and syncs, providing music for major artists, ads and products worldwide. Blame My Youth is Van Vleetâs return to the band format with âRight Where You Belong,â appearing on the Bill & Ted Face the Music soundtrack and a debut EP due this Autumn via Big Loud Rock imprint. âRight Where You Belongâ is an infectious and propulsive track built with an amalgam of traditional instrumentation ranging from synths to guitars and on. Dripping with pop sensibility, âRight Where You Belongâ is nothing if not grand in scope and massive in execution, nodding to everything from Funeral-era Arcade Fire bombast to classic U2âs earworm singles to Andrew WKâS ascendant style. Itâs the sort of single that creeps in, latches on and has you humming along by the time the track comes to a closeâ nevermind all of the times youâll hit ârepeatâ afterwards. Sean Van Vleet came up in Empires, a Chicago based indie band with several successful releases, an appearance on The Late Show and massive festival appearances like Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and more during tours with Death Cab for Cutie, Deerhunter, Alkaline Trio and others. After Empires called it quits in 2015, he connected with friend Josh Ocean (NVDES) to build an impenetrable musical bond that has seen their explosive âlaptop punkâ find its way into placements amongst the likes of Samsung, Google and Apple iPhone advertisements.
