Complex Presents Verzuz: Carl Thomas vs. Case | Apple Music

Two of the smoothest voices in 2000s R&B came to the VERZUZ stage. Carl Thomas and Case went hit for hit at Apple Music Studios in LA on October 23rd.

Aurora, Illinois’s Carl Thomas, Bad Boy’s heartbreak specialist, had a generation in their feelings with “I Wish,” “Emotional,” and “Summer Rain.”

Meanwhile, New York’s Case, the romantic behind some of the era’s biggest wedding-playlist staples, brought the love songs with “Happily Ever After” and “Missing You.”
