South African superstar in the making, Desiree makes her debut appearance in The Lab Johannesburg next week after a soaring year in her career. Having made guest appearances on BBC Radio 1’s Soundsystem, Keinemusik Radio Show and Groove Podcast, Desiree’s Afrocentric tastemaking sensibilities have traversed far and wide. The Joburg-born DJ and producer continues to push her tastes in synth-laden techno and house music and has flourished in the past year sharing stages with the likes of Hone Dijon, Black Coffee, and Mano Le Tough. Fresh off the back of her first-ever European tour, Desiree’s debut EP is looking set for release in the very near future.
