Prolific singer, actor, writer, and audiobook narrator Leslie Odom Jr. made his Broadway debut when he was just 17. But it was his turn as Aaron Burr in the smash 2015 musical Hamilton that earned him critical acclaim, and Tony and Grammy awards.
This fall, Leslie ended a seven-year hiatus from Broadway with a triumphant performance in the title role of Purlie Victorious: (A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch), and releases his fifth and most personal studio album, When a Crooner Dies, on November 17.
