In this video i go in on these two drum machine samplers to make some sampled bassed hip hop music. the mpc one and the mpc live mkii are amazing samplers from akai, the minor details or differences will be on the hardware vs the internal sampling workflow. if you are looking in to making some hip hop or boombap type if beats i feel the mpc one and the live mk2 are going to be perfect for your workflow when it comes to chopping and sampling on the drum machines.

Some of the best R&B music emerged from the '90s, including songs by the Dalyrimple brothers, better known as Soul for Real. They took over the Billboard charts with their two hit songs, 1994’s “Candy Rain,” and 1995’s “Every Little Thing I Do.”

Backed by their mentor Heavy D, the brothers experienced a brief moment of success, before it all came crashing down. Here's what happened to Soul for Real and the real reason they were blacklisted.
