Ultimi video
In the face of unprecedented economic hardships in Zimbabwe, countless men and women have made the heart-wrenching decision to leave their homes in search of a better life for their families. Driven by love and sacrifice, they endure separation, loneliness, and the harsh realities of living in foreign lands. Many settle for low-paying jobs, working tirelessly in demanding industries like fast food and general care, sending whatever little they can back home.
Without access to proper healthcare, nutritious meals, or support systems; even a minor illness can become a death sentence. Families are not only temporarily separated but, tragically, many lose their loved ones forever.
This song is a testament to the unbreakable bond and love that exists between these brothers and sisters and their families back home, even in the face of death. May their sacrifices be forever appreciated with unending gratitude.

Letra:
Hoy le doy gracias al cielo
Por las veces que me equivoque
Y porque te encontré
Me devolviste la fé
Me presentaste a Cupido
Yeah
Yeah

Lyrics:
We could fill a thousand books
With the stories of Your goodness
And still it couldn’t capture who You are
You’ve been faithful every age
You are Alpha and Omega
The greatness of Your love sets You apart
Oh let our worship sound like heaven
Singing the words we’ll sing forever
Singing holy
Worthy
Singing glory
In the highest
In the highest
Since before the dawn of time
You’ve had endless choirs of angels
All singing out Your praises on and on
So let our worship sound like heaven
Singing words will sing forever
And let every living creature join the song
Singing holy
Worthy
Singing glory
In the highest
In the highest
You are holy
Worthy
We give You glory
Amen
Praise the Father, Praise the Spirit
Praise the Risen One
He who was
He who is
He who is to come
Praise the Lion, Praise the Lamb
For all He is and all He’s done
We’ll sing these words forever
We’ll sing these words forever
We’ll sing these words forever

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis stopped by Genius to chat about their song “If You Can Count,” one of the standout tracks from their concept album Warriors. The album reimagines the 1979 cult-classic film The Warriors with an all-female gang taking on New York City. This version features Ms. Lauryn Hill as Cyrus, and her powerful performance takes the track to another level. On today’s episode of Verified, the duo dives into what inspired the song, Lauryn Hill absolutely crushing it, weaving in real NYC history, and more!
