_____________
ALICE COOPER CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY TODAY WITH THE RELEASE OF THE NEW SINGLE “SOCIAL DEBRIS” FROM THE FORTHCOMING ALBUM “DETROIT STORIES”.
FANS WILL GET TO DOWNLOAD THE TRACK FOR FREE WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HOURS AND JOIN ALICE´S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.

Today, legendary Alice Cooper celebrates his birthday – and proves he is still one of the best and most relevant rock artists. In celebration, Alice Cooper is releasing “Social Debris” from his upcoming studio album “Detroit Stories” on Thursday night.
The track is released digitally and it is accompanied by an official music video.

To celebrate the special occasion in style, Alice Cooper has decided to offer “Social Debris” as free download for 24 hours on the artist´s official website www.alicecooper.com.

“The single “Social Debris” is a gift to Detroit, to my fans and to myself”, says Alice Cooper. “The track was written by the original Alice Cooper band.
We never thought that we would ever fit in; the Alice Cooper band didn’t fit in with anybody, because we were doing things that no other band did. We didn’t fit in with the folk scene, we didn’t fit in with the metal scene, we really didn’t fit in with anything that was going on at that time. We just always felt like we were outsiders. We felt like we were social debris, we were in our own little world. So “Social Debris” was just the original band writing a song about us, essentially. And it came out sounding like it belonged into 1971. That’s just the original band – you can’t change that, it’s great.”

Listen to the single “Social Debris” here:
https://alicecooper.lnk.to/SocialDebris

“Detroit Stories,” Alice’s upcoming new album, is a celebration of the sound and spirit of the Golden Era of Detroit rock.

"Detroit was Heavy Rock central then,” explains Alice, “You’d play the Eastown and it would be Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, the Stooges and the Who, for $4! The next weekend at the Grande it was MC5, Brownsville Station and Fleetwood Mac, or Savoy Brown or the Small Faces. You couldn’t be a soft-rock band or you’d get your ass kicked."

“Los Angeles had its sound with The Doors, Love and Buffalo Springfield,” he says, “San Francisco had the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. New York had The Rascals and The Velvet Underground. But Detroit was the birthplace of angry hard rock. After not fitting in anywhere in the US (musically or image wise) Detroit was the only place that recognized the Alice Cooper guitar driven, hard rock sound and our crazy stage show. Detroit was a haven for the outcasts. And when they found out I was born in East Detroit... we were home.”

50 years later, Alice and Ezrin have united in Detroit with their Detroit friends to record “Detroit Stories,” Cooper’s new album.

Lyrics:
Rip the plug out the radio
Switch me off
Put me under
Till I’m sky high
Give me vertigo (somebody)
Let me know when it’s over

Cos all these chemicals
Dancing through my veins
They don’t kill the cause
They just numb the pain
I need waking up
I should face the truth
I could calm the storm
If I wanted to

(Typhoon)
My thoughts becoming parasites
That live to keep me terrified
I tell myself I’ll be alright
Typhoons keep on raging
And I don’t know why

Typhoon..

Flashbacks
I’m not letting go
Tear me up
Cast a shadow
I got game face
But it’s all for show
Can't give it up
Blow my cover

Cos all these chemicals
Dancing through my veins
They don’t kill the cause
They just numb the pain
I need waking up
I should face the truth
I could calm the storm
If I wanted to

(Typhoon)
My thoughts becoming parasites
That live to keep me terrified
I tell myself I’ll be alright
Typhoons keep on raging
And I don’t know why

Dark memories like lightning strike
Shake and sway me through the night
Raging on behind my eyes
I’m doomed and I’m waiting
For light in my sky
Typhoons keep on raging
And I don’t know why

Typhoon..

About Royal Blood

Brighton duo Royal Blood comprising drummer Ben Thatcher and bassist/vocalist Mike Kerr formed at the beginning of 2013. They quickly made their presence known, with pounding drums and heavily distorted bass guitar defining characteristics of their ferocious blues-rock sound. The band gained many plaudits early in their career, touring with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Iggy Pop and Foo Fighters, before going on to win Best British Group at the Brits in 2015 receiving their trophy from their musical hero and admirer Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.

Their catalogue boasts the Mercury Prize nominated self-titled debut album released in 2014 that spawned hits such as "Out of the Black, "Little Monster:, "Come On Over" and "Figure it Out", as well as their second successive UK number one album "How Did We Get So Dark?" released in 2017 which featured "Lights Out" and "I Only Lie When I Love You".

Lyrics:
2,3,5!

Maybe If I had something to say
Butterfly effect from the last three days now
Maybe if I had something to save
I used to have a soul until I threw it away
There’s shadows on the wall, wish I would’ve ran
Gotta get away I hope you understand
I try to hide my face like a wanted man
Maybe I’ll be gone before you count to 10

I made up my mind this evening
I’m taking the last I’m taking the last
Drink while my conscious eats me
I’m taking the last I’m taking the last
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
This time is the last this time is the last

Maybe if we went another way
I wouldn’t be regretting the decisions that I made
I don’t want to spend another day
Looking for somebody that I know I can’t replace
My tears fall you don’t miss me
Put me out my misery
Think my heart is history
I think I’m broke and nothing can fix me

I made up my mind this evening
I’m taking the last I’m taking the last
Drink while my conscious eats me
I’m taking the last I’m taking the last
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
This time is the last this time is the last

Yeah
We were built to fall apart
But I can’t feel you now
And it’s too late now there’s no point screaming
Dug your grave so fuck your feelings
No one’s here so now you’re on your own

I made up my mind this evening
I’m taking the last I’m taking the last
Drink while my conscious eats me
I’m taking the last I’m taking the last
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
This time is the last this time is the last
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
I’m ready to let you go
This time is the last this time is the last

“Tissues” lyrics:

I feel left out
Like a child
Every time that you're close
Every time that you walk through the door
I feel let down
Is it fear?
Don't you feel my heart go
Every time you whisper in my ear?

'Cause everybody wants to feel love
Everybody wants to be adored-dored
Everybody wants to feel love
Everybody wants to be adored-dored

I can't keep holding my breath
God forbid you leave me like all the rest did
I'm in love again
And tomorrow I'll be sad
Take it out of my chest
God forbid you leave me like all the rest did
I'm in love again
And tomorrow I'll be sad

You're sarcastic
You tell lies
But I can handle the truth
It sounds so heavenly to me
I don't want you to hide your issues
Blow them into your tissues
Give 'em to me
Come on, give it to, give it to me!

'Cause everybody wants to feel love
Everybody wants to be adored-dored
Everybody wants to feel love
Everybody wants to be adored-dored

Can't keep holding my breath
God forbid you leave me like all the rest did
I'm in love again
And tomorrow I'll be sad
Take it out of my chest
God forbid you leave me like all the rest did
I'm in love again
And tomorrow I'll be sad

I decide to come outside
You turn around and you tell me you love me
I decide to come outside
You turn around and you tell me you need me
I decide to come outside
You turn around and you tell me you love me
I decide to come outside
All I can say, all I can say, all I can say is it makes me sad!

Can't keep holding my breath
God forbid you leave me like all the rest did
I'm in love again
And tomorrow I'll be sad (Tomorrow I'll be sad)
Take it out of my chest
God forbid you leave me like all the rest did
I'm in love again
And tomorrow I'll be sad (Tomorrow I'll be sad)

Lyrics:
So, tell me what you want from me, can we just pretend?
Pretend that you didn’t try to fuck all my friends
Wish I could erase you, you’re tattooed in my head
There’s three little words that I should have said
Go fuck yourself

Look at this picture, something ain’t right
I’m feelin shitty, broken inside
You cut me up in four letter lines
Stabbin my back with this four letter lie
You gave my hoodie to some other guy
I fell for you and im payin the price
Do you do it for clout?
Do you do it for hype?
Do you do it for love?
Do you do it for likes?

I am so high, there’s stars in my eyes
I wanna go back, I wanna rewind
You got so many faces, gemini
You’re worse than all of my exes combined

I said that last time would be the last time
You always fucking gaslight, you’re never all alone
I need to say what’s on my mind
and then it’s goodbye
You left me high and dry and now I gotta go

So, tell me what you want from me, can we just pretend?
Pretend that you didn’t try to fuck all my friends
I wish I could erase you, you’re tattooed in my head
There’s three little words that I should have said

Go fuck yourself
I wish you well, but go to hell Go fuck yourself
I wish you well, but go to hell Go fuck yourself

LYRICS:
I’m a bitch and my band is an industry plant
Least that what it says on the internet
Think you know who I am, you say you’re not a fan
But you got all my songs playing in your head
It’s so obvious you really want my attention
Hope you’re having fun
Still stuck in your mothers basement
Talk trash but you’re like a million miles away
I’m not for your entertainment
I just laugh cause you’re never ever gonna
Say it to my face
Say it to my face
S-s-s-say it to my face
Say it to my face
You’re so irrelevant
Almost didn’t commit
Almost didn’t write you a second verse
Really wish I could stay, gotta fly to L.A
Play a show at The Wiltern
It’s so obvious you really need some attention
Hope you’re having fun
Still stuck in your mothers basement
Talking trash when you’re like a million miles away
I’m not for your entertainment
Makes me laugh cause you’re never ever gonna
Say it to my face
Say it to my face
S-s-s-say it to my face
Say it to my face

LYRICS

Well she said she’d only take me
If I were the only man alive
When she standing right in front of me
I’m about to lose my mind, I feel it breaking
No, my heart ain't worth the saving tonight

It’s like I’m moving in slow motion
And I’m blinded by the sound
See my body’s in the ocean
But my head is underground
I tried to pin it, but her heart I’ll never win it, so goodnight

Even though the girls a looker, we’re only blood and sugar, right?
No I never understood her, we’re only blood and sugar, right?

Well she said she wouldn’t come for me
She gonna leave me high and dry
See our love could be a symphony
But she’d rather let it die than be together
Yeah she swears I’ll never ever get inside

Well I wish I knew what shook her, we’re only blood and sugar, right?
No I never understood her, we’re only blood and sugar, right?

I gotta taper off the medicine
Pick my back up off the floor
Need a fix of some adrenaline
Get my ass up out the door and find another
I could use a better lover in my life

Still I wish I knew what took her, we’re only blood and sugar, right?
No I never understood her, we’re only blood and sugar, right?
Why’s my heart still in the cooker if we’re only blood and sugar, right?

Lyrics:

Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

El día está pa’ bote y playa
Y para pasarme de la raya.
En la arena sobre la toalla,
Ese plancito nunca falla.
Esta nena tiene fans
Y el corazón partío, como Sanz
Muchos son los que me tiran, pero
Pocos son los que me dan.

Soy selectiva, poca trayectoria,
Normal,
Por razones obvias
Al amor le cogí fobia,
Perro que me escriba pantallazo y pa' su novia
Nadie va a decirme cómo me debo comportar
Pueden opinar, pero

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Con vista al mar, reservé el hotel
Ya me prendí con un solo coctel
Me puse poca ropa pa' mostrar la piel
La abeja reina está botando miel

Aun huele a verano aquí
¿Qué tiene de malo? Sí,
Eso es para usarlo y

Mi cuerpo está diciendo…

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Aun huele a verano aquí
¿Qué tiene de malo? Sí
Eso es para usarlo y

Mi cuerpo está diciendo…

Aun huele a verano aquí
Y eso es para usarlo, si
Hoy algo me gano aquí,

Ay,

Ahh, se pasa rico soltera
Y ahora las lobas…

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Ay que rico…mira que rico

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Pa’ que ese cabrón
Cuando me vea le duela
Se pasa rico soltera

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Pa’ que ese cabrón
Cuando me vea le duela
Se pasa rico soltera
