LYRICS

He said
“You bore me to death”
“I know you heard me the first time” and
“Be sad but don’t be depressed”
Just think it over, over and
He said
“It’s all in your head”
“But keep an ear to the grapevine” and
“Get drunk but don’t be a mess”
Keep thinking over, over
I try

But it’s hard to hit rewind
When I feel like
I feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over I
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over
I try

He said
“You need to be fed”
“But keep an eye on your waistline” and
“Look good but don’t be obsessed”
Keep thinking over, over
I try

But it’s hard to know what’s right
When I feel like I’m borrowing all of my time
And it’s hard to hit rewind
When I feel like
I feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over I
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over

I feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over I
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over
I try

LYRICS
Sometimes I just drive
‘Til the night turns off my mind
I’m passing cars
And crowded bars
Never know until I go too far
Confusing faith and fear
Paint a smile from ear to ear
‘Cause if I blink
I start to think
I feel nothing, I feel everything

I try my best to turn down the noise
And I tell myself that boys will be boys
It’s getting harder to breathe
So baby put me to sleep
‘Til it gets better?

So wake me up when it’s over
It’s over
When it’s over
Tell me it was all just a dream

And wake me up when it’s over
It’s over
When it’s over
Tell me it was all just a dream
And I’ll believe it

Keep me in the dark
Then fast forward to the part
With endless nights
And neon lights
I’ll be beautiful and starry eyed

I try my best to turn down the noise
And I tell myself that boys will be boys
It’s getting harder to breathe
So, baby, put me to sleep
Til it gets better

So wake me up when it’s over
It’s over
When it’s over
Tell me it was all just a dream

And wake me up when it’s over
It’s over When it’s over
Tell me it was all just a dream
And I’ll believe it

Sometimes I just drive
When I can’t turn off my mind
I don’t know where
I’ll meet you there
Someday

So wake me up when it’s over
It’s over
When it’s over
Tell me it was all just a dream

And wake me up when it’s over
It’s over
When it’s over
Tell me it was all just a dream

And I’ll believe it

LYRICS
I’m writing a book on how to stay conscious when you drown
And if the words float up to the surface
I’ll keep them down
This is the first time I know
I don’t want the crown
You can take it now
You promised the world and brought me it hanging from a string
Stuck in my mouth, into my throat
Told me to sing
That was the first time I knew
You can’t kill the king
And those who kiss the ring

Tell me how
It’s better when the sun goes down
We will never escape this town
I wasn’t scared when he caught me
Look what it taught me
Tell me how
It’s better if I make no sound
I will never escape these doubts
I wasn’t dead when they found me
Watch as they pull me down

I’m writing a chapter on what to do after they dig you up
On what to do after you grew to hate what you used to love
That was the first time I knew
They were out for blood
And they would have your guts

Tell me how
It’s better when the sun goes down
We will never escape this town
I wasn’t scared when he caught me
Look what it taught me
Tell me how
It’s better if I make no sound
I will never escape these doubts
I wasn’t dead when they found me
Watch as they pull me down

Watch as they pull me down
Watch as they pull me down
Pulling me down
Dead when they found me
Watch as they pull me down
Watch as they pull me down
Watch as they pull me down
Pulling me down
Dead when they found me
Watch as they pull me down

I’m writing a book on how to stay conscious when you drown
And if the words float up to the surface
I’ll keep them down
This is the first time I know
I don’t want the crown
You can take it now
You can take it now
Take it now

Lyrics:

Oh I remember how you were
You were every shade of perfect
And then the colors blurred
You’ll never love me like you did,
You’ll never love,
You’ll never love me like you did

And I see your ghost from time to time
When I’m driving through the Rockies
And I feel this little knife in my heart
And it bleeds me out
Don't want to love you
Don't want to love you now

Oh how come all the best things fall apart
And it started pretty slowly
Oh when you asked about the old me
Oh, is he gone?
Oh, is he gone?
Oh i don’t know
I think I left him somewhere
I no longer go
And I watch you run away now
From all the lovely things we hate now
Where did we go?
Where did we go?
Oh I don't know
But I know
It feels like somewhere far away from home
And it’s falling into pieces
No, there's not a way
That we can stop this now

One thousand miles an hour
We’re driving off the edge
And darling now
There's nothing left
And it started out so slowly

Oh as I lay here by myself
And it’s 4am I wonder
Did I put you through hell?
Oh no,
I need to know if you’re okay
I want to know, I need to know
If you’re okay
mmmm,
And, I hope you that you’re
So damn sure
That Leaving me was right
Best thing you ever did
It was leaving me behind
Woo ooo ooo
I couldn't blame you if I tried
I guess even the best things fall apart

And it started pretty slowly
Oh when you asked about the old me
Oh, is he gone?
Oh, is he gone?
Oh I don’t know
I think I left him somewhere
I no longer go
And I watch you run away now
From all the lovely things we hate now
Where did we go?
Where did we go?
Oh I don't know
But I know it feels
Like somewhere far away from home
And it’s falling into pieces
No, there's not a way
That we can stop this now
One thousand miles an hour
We’re driving off the edge
And darling now
there’s nothing left

Somewhere deep in you
Somewhere deep in me
Oh there’s still two lovers
So who the hell are we?

When I look at you,
And, When you look at me
Oh there’s still two lovers so who the hell are we?
When I look at you
And when you look at me
Oh there's still two lovers
So who the hell are we?

When I look at you,
And, when you look at me,
Oh there’s still two lovers so who the hell are we?

Who the hell are we?
Oh, who the hell are we?

beabadoobee - Beaches (Official Video)

Directed by Jake Erland

This Is How Tomorrow Moves - 9th August - Pre-Order Now - https://beabadoobee.ffm.to/thisishowtomorrowmoves

Dirty Hit 2024

Lyrics:

Spinning out on what to say or what to do
Finding reasons for my constant change in mood
Said I’ll see it to believe it, but who know the actual truth
Cause I’m sure now, I’m sure

Cause days blend to one
When I’m on the right beaches
And the walls painted white
They tell me all the secrets
Don’t wait for the tide, just to dip both your feet in
Cos I’m sure now, I’m sure
Find it hard to say, I know that I’m alright
Took a while for me to finally realise
That when I see it, I’ll believe it
Giving me a piece of mind
I’m sure now, I’m sure

Cause days blend to one
When I’m on the right beaches
And the walls painted white
They tell me all the secrets
Don’t wait for the tide, just to dip both your feet in
Cos I’m sure now, I’m sure
Cos I’m sure now,
I’m sure

Cause somedays I’m afraid to fall down
But I know the coming outcome
Pick it up if I allow it
Can’t help it, Can’t help cause…

Cause days blend to one
When I’m walking the white beaches
And the walls painted white
You tell me all the secrets
Don’t wait for the time, just to dip both your feet in
Cos I’m sure now, I’m sure
