What Happened To R&B Singer Lloyd? | Beef With Irv Gotti, Feeling Lost & Becoming a Father Hotney 1 Streams • 3 years ago

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Decatur, Georgia, Lloyd Polite Jr., professional known as simply Lloyd, was blessed with the gift of singing curtesy of his musically inclined father. Sadly, he never got a chance to know his father since he passed away in New Orleans when Lloyd was just 2 years old. Lloyd, as well as his family, believe that his death was due to homicide despite the official autopsy report ruling it as a suicide. To cope and recover from the devastating loss, his mother packed him and his older sister up and moved to Georgia. Lloyd’s mother and her new beau added three more boys to the family creating a full house that Lloyd took advantage of to show off his vocal talent. From a very young age, he was all about music and doing what was necessary to pave the way to a career in the field with professional headshots, resumes and going on countless auditions. He cites Michael Jackson as the single most influential artist in his life clearly evident in how much he loved to imitate the King of Pop in his performances during his formative years.

YOU WIN AGAIN
I couldnt figure why you couldnt give me what everybody needs
I shouldn't let you kick me when I'm down, my baby
I find out everybody know that you've been using me
I'm surprised you let me stay around you
One day I'm gonna lift the cover and look inside your heart
We gotta level before we go and tear this love apart

There's no fight you can't fight
This battle of love with me
You win again
So little time
We do nothing but compete

There's no life on Earth
No other could see me through
You win again
Some never try
But if anybody can, we can
And I'll be, I'll be
Following you

Oh baby I shake you from now on
I'm gonna break down your defenses
One by one
I'm gonna hit you from all sides
Lay your fortress open wide
Nobody stops this body from taking you

You better beware, I swear
I'm gonna be there one day when you fall
I could never let you cast aside
The greatest love of all

There's no fight you can't fight
This battle of love with me
You win again
So little time
We do nothing but compete

There's no life on Earth
No other could see me through
You win again
Some never try
But if anybody can, we can
And I'll be, I'll be
Following you

Lyrics

COMMITTMENT ISSUES

I got commitment issues
But I’m tryna fix that for you
If I cant afford that bag that you want..
Then I would lick that for you
I wana be there for you
I knew that the day I saw you
Too many times we argue
Sorry for all the names I called you
Shoulda never called you bitch
But I did
Now your pissed
Tryna cut my clothes
Shoulda deleted that text
Then you wouldn’t of known
That I fucked those hos
Don’t act like you care how I feel
Don’t act like you care how I feel.. you don’t
Don’t like how u act so spoilt
& you start move mad when I tell you no

But I wanna make it known
I gotta take my time with love
So we gotta take it slow
I’m not used to this type of stuff
But I can still make you moan
Anytime that u want I can lay that
U wait on the day that I say that I love you too
But I just can’t say that
U want that bag? ima hit the trap
In a week
I’ll make that purchase
One touch make a leg start shake
Make a leg start shake
Like I make you nervous
Every time that I rap bout hos
I know that you hate those lyrics
I don’t believe in love
But that doesn’t mean I don’t take you serious

I got commitment issues
But I’m tryna fix that for you
If I cant afford that bag that you want..
Then I would lick that for you
I wana be there for you
I knew that the day I saw you
Too many times we argue
Sorry for all the names I called you
Shoulda never called you bitch
But I did
Now your pissed
Tryna cut my clothes
Shoulda deleted that text
Then you wouldn’t of known
That I fucked those hos
Don’t act like you care how I feel
Don’t act like you care how I feel.. you don’t
Don’t like how u act so spoilt
& you start move mad when I tell you no

I got commitment issues
I know that your ex still miss you
You can’t get enough my love
Cus I give you a fuck that your ex can’t give you
Ha, Send a location
I’m speeding
Cus I got no patience
20 bags on trainers
Think I’m famous
I got a lot of hos tho lately
I get a lot of dough tho lately
& I get paid for the promo lately
A lot of fake love in the air
Can’t go nowhere on my solo lately
Me n her just argue daily
She knows that I trap so her Marge don’t rate me
When I don’t text back I ain’t with a yat
Im in the bando baby

I got commitment issues
But I’m tryna fix that for you
If I cant afford that bag that you want..
Then I would lick that for you
I wana be there for you
I knew that the day I saw you
Too many times we argue
Sorry for all the names I called you
