Watch Kings From Queens: The Run DMC Story Streaming Now on Peacock: https://pck.tv/3HTywY4

Hip-hop legends take us back to the early days of rap, dissecting the epic rise of Run-DMC and their impact on the next wave of artists. Ice Cube, Doug E. Fresh, and Ice-T chime in, sharing how Run-DMC flipped the script on their approach to music, shaping the future of hip-hop in the process. (Episode 2)

Synopsis: Kings From Queens: The RUN DMC Story, produced by Believe Entertainment Group, is the never-been-told story of the most influential rap group in the history of music, RUN DMC. Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell met on the streets of Hollis, Queens before these hip-hop legends would go on to legitimize a genre of music that critics labeled a fad. Their influence on culture shattered racial barriers, making them international stars and fashion leaders of the ‘80s. After a series of life-changing events and challenges, including the murder of their beloved DJ, Jam Master Jay, Rev Run, and DMC reunite to tell their story and celebrate the genre of music they established.

Lyrics:

I've been over you for some time now, baby
I don't miss your kiss like before now anymore now
If you asked me how I'm doin', I'm fine
All I needed was a little time

So if you still think that I still need you, baby
I really don't know why

Oh, baby, since you left me
You might think that my world's been torn apart
But if you see me, baby, you'll see
That nothing's broken, nothing broken but my heart

You won't find no tears in my eyes now baby
If you think I'm sad that you're gone now
Then you're wrong now
If you ask I'll say I'm happy I'm free
Tell you that's the way I wanna be
And all those nights we shared together baby
We'll they don't mean a thing

Oh baby since you left me
You might think that my world's been torn apart
But if you see me
Baby you'll see that
Nothing's broken, nothing broken but my heart

So if you still think that I need you baby
I don't think about you
I'm happy now without you

Oh baby, you might think my world's been torn apart
Oh, but you'll see that
Nothing's broken, nothing broken but my heart
Oh baby, since you left me
You might think that my world's been torn apart
But if you see me
Baby, you'll see that
Nothing's broken, nothing broken but my heart
Nothing broken, nothing broken but my heart
Baby, you might thing my world's been torn apart
But nothing's broken, nothing broken but my heart

BAD SPEAKERS TV EPISODE 178 | HOOD NI**A FEATURING GORILLA ZOE

On this episode of BSTV, Ya Boi Shad & G. Downs sat down with the legendary Gorilla Zoe. They began by discussing his origins, growing up in Griffin, Georgia, before moving to California and eventually settling in Atlanta.

They then delved into his journey into hip-hop, revealing that he never aspired to be a rapper. However, fate intervened when he met Bloc Ent. Gorilla Zoe shared the story of writing the hit song “Hood Nigga,” which was initially intended for the group Boyz N Da Hood. Bloc Ent convinced him to record the track, which catapulted him to fame.

Gorilla Zoe also spoke about joining Boyz N Da Hood after Jeezy’s departure. His debut album exceeded expectations, propelling him to international stardom as a rap artist. He reminisced about collaborating with other hit artists like Young Joc, Lil Wayne on “Lost,” and Rick Ross on “You Know What It Is.”

The conversation then turned to Gorilla Zoe’s close relationship with legend Gucci Mane, and their early collaboration "Walk With A Waddle". He also addressed the question of Gucci Mane’s bipolar disorder.

Gorilla Zoe shared his experiences working with the legendary producer Zaytoven. He then discussed his departure from Bloc Ent and the enduring cordial relationship they maintain to this day.

As the episode drew to a close, Gorilla Zoe reflected on his past bad purchases and shared his list of the greatest rappers from Atlanta and the most influential rappers in the city.

👁‍🗨️ Lyrics :

Main janu teri cheli tu jaane meri
Beriya ne chaaldya na aawein se andheri
Ghoor se batheri maahri door te batheri
Maikha jana koni padya kare paas
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Khopdi mein gaal dya ge gund kapatas

Mari saanp sidhi bani saaf sidhi zindgani
Koni mantri na santri ka chalta dhithora
Ade balka pe halta na kalka chhora
Kati kati different tere yaar ka se aura
Taura beriya ne aata koni raas
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Khopdi mein gaal dya ge gund kapatas
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Bair moda 25 ke kar ke 50
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash

Maikha tere charche gulabi kade kaale suit ke
Yaar daily ke passenger se death route ke
Hogi aankh bhi green meri zehar ghoont ke
Kade tuut ke pade the aaj pda tuut ke ne
Koye nede tede bhi na mahre aaj ke bakhat
Maikha tohndi fire tod tere yaar ki likhat
Ruka tabti na jabti se satla mein satt
Dekho kabtai cha legi nue saans
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Khopdi mein gaal dya ge gund kapatas
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash

Maikha naam ki to baat ki nishan bhi mitadyu
Time aan de tu soda ke se rp dikhadyu
Kaache kaat beriya ke aande koni kaabu
Kyuki yara pe na chaalde bangal aale jaadu
Maikha raato raat kardiya flip sara khel
Chhore chadte chadte ki kaat jaana bail
Mera kai kilometra mein soch ka scale
Kra seconda mein matter khallas
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Maikha saala konsi ka bolya badmash
Khopdi mein gaal dya ge gund kapatas

Lyrics:
You touch, touch, touch the sun in me somehow

I say this all the time
And it breaks this heart of mine
When I can’t decide
Does it make sense to discover
The pain inside another
Then turn to ice

If you don’t believe in something besides fear of discomfort
Can anybody know what is wrong or right
If you take all of my love
And I take all of your love
It’s the trip that gets us higher into the night

And we go dayglow
We can’t say no
We just go dayglow
We can’t say no, oh
Not a day goes by that I don’t know
Oh, oh
We were dayglow

I wanna feel your darkness
And hold you in the farthest place that you run
Your father and your mother don’t have to be the lover that you become
(I don’t wanna know)

It’s all a bunch a bullshit
There’s not another culprit
That’s ever gonna hurt worse than honesty
So take all of my love
And I’ll take all of your love
It’s the trip that gets us higher into the dream

And we go dayglow
We can’t say no
We just go dayglow
We can’t say no, oh
Not a day goes by that I don’t know
Oh, oh
We were dayglow

So hold me tight as time goes by
I’ll hold the light beside you
Cause every life’s another try
And I just stay inside you

And we go dayglow
We can’t say no
We just go dayglow
We can’t say no, oh
Not a day goes by that I don’t know
Oh, oh
We were dayglow

Lyrics:
Let’s make tonight the weekend
I don’t wanna wait - I don’t wanna wait - I don’t wanna wait
Got no reason not to celebrate
Baby I just don’t wanna wait

Swimming in the deep blue
Got me thinking bout you
I’m just tryna dive right in
Wanna spend tonight like
The last night of our lives
Chasing all the love we can

And now oh I’m in a sea of lights
And all that I can see is you
And now I’m dying to feel alive
So baby let’s try something new

Let’s make tonight the weekend
I don’t wanna wait - I don’t wanna wait - I don’t wanna wait
Got no reason not to celebrate
Baby I just don’t wanna wait

I been chasing so long
Every right that feels wrong
Rather be with you instead
There’s something bout it right here
Got me seeing so clear
Rainbow colored skies ahead

LYRICS:
Help me get out of it
I can’t keep my head up
Please tell me how do you feel
I’m drowning in this river

It’s hard to take
it’s hard to break
for you I’m a pawn to sacrifice

tried to make amends
I’ve tried to pretend
yet somehow it always creeps back in

Feels like yesterday when I heard you say,
“I’m yours to devour till my last breath”

Help me get out of it
I can’t keep my head up
Please tell me how do you feel
I’m drowning in this river

I tried my very fucking best to get over it but
There’s not a single day I spent
Without caring more about
How you feel
About me
Than I feel
About you
Before I realised what happened, you already broke my hand, that reached out in hopes of getting help from you

Help me get out of it
I can’t keep my head up
Please tell me how do you feel
I’m drowning in this river

Help me get out of it cause i can’t keep my head above the water
Please tell me how do you feel cause I’m drowned in this river that’s filled with my sorrows

I drown in this river
I’m drowned in my sorrows
I’m drowned in this river
I’m gone by tomorrow

River Of Sorrows

Help me get out of it
I can’t keep my head up
Please tell me how do you feel
I’m drowning in this river

Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."
