About “The Right Guy"
"The Right Guy" is the latest gem from Yafania, marking the beginning of a thrilling new saga in her musical odyssey. Starring both Yafania and Pearce Joza, a renowned actor known for his roles in various Disney films and television shows, the video brings to life the fictional story of Yafania and her love interest. As the inaugural chapter of a larger collective of visual works, this song embodies the essence of her dream romance pop style. With its lush melodies and heartfelt lyrics, "The Right Guy" delves into the quest for that perfect connection, painting a picture of love that is both idealistic and deeply personal.

About Yafania:
At the age of eighteen, Yafania is a trailblazer in the dream romance pop genre, where her music transcends mere sound to become a vivid cinematic experience. Each song she writes is a carefully crafted narrative, capturing exact moments and the realizations that accompany them. Her lyrics and melodies are imbued with the events that lead up to these moments, offering listeners a glimpse into the romantic dreams that she holds dear. Yafania’s work is characterized by its emotional depth and visionary scope, making her a unique, youthful voice in the music world.

LYRICS:
-------------
Intro:
Oh oh oh oh
Woah

Verse 1:
I think I knew you back then for a while
Sometimes I’d blush before you'd cast your perfect smile
And I’d say “what the hell was I thinking?” on the bus ride
The bus ride home
Next day we’d say a subtle hey
You in your vans and me in my Mary Janes
Your words enchant and my eyes start to stray
and my head would say

Prechorus:
It’d say
Oh Oh Oh
Woah
Oh Oh Oh
woah
Oh
Woah
Oh Oh Oh
Woah

Chorus:
Cause you are the right guy
You are the right guy
With you it’s magical
oh
And you are the one
The only one I call
When I need things practical
oh
When I toss and turn throughout the night
I can’t help it you’re always in my mind
Cause you are the right guy
You are the right guy
With you it’s magical
oh

Verse 2:
Few has now turned to many years
I look for you in the crowd
Where you can disappear
And I know you’re kinda shy
But you know that that’s fine
That’s fine
oh
Follow through don’t fence yourself away
Hold my hand I’ll lead you through the gate oh
Oh Oh Oh
Woah

Chorus 2:
Cause you are the right guy
You are the right guy
With you it’s magical
oh
And you are the one
The only one I call
When I need things practical
oh
When I toss and turn throughout the night
I can’t help it you’re always in my mind
Cause you are the right guy
You are the right guy
With you it’s magical
oh

Bridge:
He’s so honest
So modest
He keeps up with every promise
Never forgets a date
He keeps them logged up away
He’s so honest
So modest
He kept his promise
People from the past
Never ended up to stay
oh
But he stays
oh

Chorus 3:
You are the right guy
You are the right guy
With you it’s magical
And you are the one
The only one I call
When I need things practical
When I toss and turn throughout the night
I can’t help it you’re always in my mind
Cause you are the right guy
You are the right guy
With you it’s magical
Oh

Outro:
With you it’s magical
Oh

Lyrics :

Lyrics:
This is what I wanted.
Nothing's gonna change it.
This is what it's all about.
Gotta keep believing.
This is why I am breathing,
nothing else on my mind.

Suddenly I see that time has been running out
Lord I feel like it coming,
under my skin.
I can feel the change,
under my skin.
No more hesitating
I don't wanna face it
This is all I've ever known.
All my doubts are fading
Rushing to the edge and I let myself go.

And I feel that my heart's going crazy now.
I am not gonna break, can't be taken down?
No i'm not going under,
it's going down with the thunder.
I feel the fire within burning high
With the thunder.
No, I'm not going under.
It's going down with the thunder.

It's going down with the thunder.

This can not be taken.
All I have been facing.
I will never let it go.

Feel the liberation.
It won't be forsaken.
Never gonna shout it out.
Suddenly I see that this is not the end.
Lord, I feel like it coming under my skin (?)
I can feel the change,
Under my skin.

All my doubts are fading.
I feel my mind is straining
Rushing to the edge and I let myself go.

And I feel that my heart's going crazy now.
I am not gonna break, can't be taken down?
No i'm not going under,
it's going down with the thunder.
I feel the fire within burning high
With the thunder.
No, I'm not going under.
It's going down with the thunder.

It's going down with the thunder.

I am what I am.
I'm not heaven sent.
I am what I am.
Here we go again.
Down with the thunder.

And I feel that my heart's going crazy now.
I am not gonna break, can't be taken down?
No i'm not going under,
it's going down with the thunder.
I feel the fire within burning high
With the thunder.
No, I'm not going under.
It's going down with the thunder.

Lyrics:
Brace for the storm we’re condemned to endure
Hold fast to hope and embrace the downpour

I’m standing at the impasse
And there seems to be no other way outta here
Divided by the impact, we fall
Have we reached the end before it started?
I won’t give it up now

Cos I’ve come to far and I will not be lead astray, no, no
False faith keeps me awake, just look at what you’ve done to us
I wont give it up now
Do I speak my verse in tongues
Cos my words have lost all sense of reason
Look what we’ve become

And look at what you’ve done

Keep telling me it's over now
Keep telling me to let it go, let it go
Don’t you dare to dream it’s over now
I'll find a way to make it through this

Firefight, a testament to the act of self destruction
Forge your chains on the shackles of doubt
Burden, release the noose from your neck
You are the salt of the earth
While I still bleed for it

I'm paralysed
In this sinking state of purgatory
Ritual regicide
Sacrifice me so you can be free

Keep telling me it's over now
Keep telling me to let it go, let it go
Don’t you dare to dream it’s over now
I'll find a way to make it through this

Bury me, in the depths of this depravity
Can't find a reason to wanna be myself anymore
The affliction we leave, as we fall into decay
We built this beacon of hope
How can so much have changed

I'm waiting, for the reckoning
Yeah I'm waiting, for death to come for me
You got me praying, for a prophesy to guide me safely
Through the fire and through the flood

Keep telling me to let it go, cos I won't, no, no

Keep telling me it's over now
Keep telling me to let it go, let it go
Don’t you dare to dream it’s over now
I'll find a way to make it through this

Stop telling me to let it go
Cos I won't, no, no, no, no
Brace for the storm we’re condemned to endure
Hold fast to hope and embrace the downpour

Lyrics:
Remember the words that we promised each other
The face of the devil, the tears of the lovers

It’s like we’re bound in chains
Keeping us apart, so close and yet so far
Trying to reach each other
We pull and we pull and we pull
We keep draining ourselves
Truth is we both know
The change that we hope for won’t come

With the rain falling on my skin
I’m losing control
Now it’s sink or swim

When it rains it pours
I’m out in the open
Carry me ashore
Just let me be ignored

We keep losing our minds there’s no air to breathe
Running by thousands of doors, but we can't find the keys
The face of the devil, it leads me astray
Flickering flames, but we still fade away

Stay with me
The face of the devil. the tears of the lovers
Remember the words that we promised each other

With the rain falling on my skin
I’m losing control
Now it’s sink or swim

When it rains it pours
I’m out in the open
Carry me ashore
Just let me be ignored

Letra

Me da asco pensar
Que llegarte a besar
Iba a volverme loca
(Iba a volverme loca)

Yo te dije que sí
Luego me arrepentí
Cerquita de tu boca

Me querías presumir

Mejor malo conocido
Que bueno por conocer

Fuiste un paso mal dado
Puro tiempo perdido
No me sigas buscando
No sirves ni de amigo

Fuiste un paso mal dado
Puro tiempo perdido
No me sigas buscando

Puro tiempo perdido
No me sigas buscando

(Contigo)
Puro tiempo perdido

Lyrics:

Contigo,
Y siempre va a soñar
Contigo,
Y cada amanecer
Contigo,

Contigo,
Y siempre va a soñar
Contigo,
Y cada amanecer
Contigo,
Daría todo por volver contigo
Contigo.
