Letra:

Y ahora anda perdia
Y ahora anda perdia (Ay, mi mami, jajajajaja)

[Coro]
Y ahora anda perdia'
Y ahora anda perdia (Ay, mi mami, jajajajaja)

Te maldigo to' los besos, yo solito me manche
Te maldigo to' los besos, yo solito me manche

[Coro]
Y ahora anda perdia'
Y ahora anda perdia (Ay, mi mami, jajajajaja)

LYRICS
I’m leaving your face in the rear view
There’s nothing left to save nothing left to lose
I know I’ve done all that I can do
But imma pour it up, and take a shot for you
I can see it all now it’s a clear view
There’s nothing left to save nothing left to lose
I know I’ve done all that I can do
But imma pour it up, and take a shot for ya

Keep playin games with my head
Why are you so contradicting
You know exactly what you did
So why you out here playing victim
Must’ve went and bumped ya head
Boy we ain’t in competition
Posed to be my ride or die
So why you out here switchin
Up on me, we both know that I I tried to leave
Honestly, you controlled every part of me
Cant escape, same old game stuck on repeat
Everything you fed me kept me on your leash
You told me I couldn’t do it
You told me yould put me through it
Told me yould ruin my name
Told me yould ruin my music
Fed me lies and you knew it
Fell for it I was stupid
I know that you’ll never change
Had all my love and you blew it
Oh what a shame what a shame what a shame
All the pain all the pain all the pain
Your shifting blame shifting blame shifting blame
You’re still the same what a shame

I’m leaving your face in the rear view
There’s nothing left to save nothing left to lose
I know I’ve done all that I can do
But imma pour it up, and take a shot for you
I can see it all now it’s a clear view
There’s nothing left to save nothing left to lose
I know I’ve done all that I can do
But imma pour it up, and take a shot for ya

Twisting up the stories you can’t seem to get em straight
Right hand on the Bible as you lie right to my face
Painting me the villain just so you can win your case
You know if I tell it all therell be no more debates
Behind the scenes manipulating but online you’re living righteous
You say I’m playing the victim while your exploiting your child
I can’t believe you have the nerve to even be in denial
I’ll never hide my tears again just to fake a smile
Idgaf if you ain’t fuck her
It don’t matter to me if you didnt touch her
Went behind my back what a disgraceful mf
This wasn’t the first time there was another

I’m leaving your face in my rear view
There’s nothing left to save nothing left to lose
I know I’ve done all that I can do
But imma pour it up, and take a shot for you
And I’m gonna make you regret it
Just remember I said it
I know you’re gonna regret it
Don’t forget it

Live From Daryl's House - Episode #83 - Tommy Shaw from Styx Hotney 29

Daryl Hall started Live From Daryl’s House, the free monthly web show in late 2007, after having the idea of “playing with my friends and putting it up on the Internet,” and the show has since garnered acclaim from Rolling Stone, SPIN, Daily Variety, CNN, BBC, Yahoo! Music and influential blogger Bob Lefsetz, who have cited Live From Daryl’s House as a perfect example of a veteran artist reinventing himself in the digital age by collaborating with both established colleagues and newer performers.

Past episodes of Live from Daryl’s House have featured a mix of well-known performers like Smokey Robinson, The Doors’ Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek, Nick Lowe, K.T. Tunstall, Todd Rundgren, Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy, Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump, Finger Eleven’s James Black and Rick Jackett, the Bacon Brothers and country star Jimmy Wayne, along with newcomers such as Philly soul singer Mutlu, Canadian techno-rockers Chromeo, MySpace pop-rock phenom Eric Hutchinson, Cash Money rocker Kevin Rudolf, Wind-up Records’ Chicago rockers Company of Thieves, Bay Area singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson, Charlottesville, VA’s rising Parachute, Chicago rock band Plain White T’s and highly touted tunesmith Diane Birch.

In episode #83 of Live From Daryl's House, Daryl Hall welcomes Tommy Shaw from Styx, where they’ll be performing songs like “Renegade,” “It’s a Laugh,” and more.

-------------------

After recording the hit track in New York, the video for “Valerie” was shot in London in 2007. As Amy Winehouse couldn't make the video shoot, production came up with the concept of Mark Ronson inviting multiple Amy’s to perform on stage with Jazz musicians in an underground club.

Watch the making of Valerie here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_1TezYtj2U

Lyrics:

Well sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water
And I think of all the things, what you're doing
And in my head I paint a picture

'Cause since I've come on home
Well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over Valerie?

Valerie
Valerie
Valerie

Did you have to go to jail
Put your house up for sale, did you get a good lawyer?
I hope you didn't catch a tan
I hope you'll find the right man who'll fix it for ya
And are you shopping anywhere
Changed the color of your hair, are you busy?
And did you have to pay that fine
You were dodging all the time, are you still dizzy?

'Cause since I've come on home
Well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over Valerie?

Valerie

Well sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water
And I think of all the things, what you're doing
And in my head I paint a picture

'Cause since I've come on home

Won't you come on over
