Correcting some information from my last video (https://youtu.be/lOGDeiU-ZCI) and giving props to a true unheralded bass giant - Raymond Earl of INSTANT FUNK, some of my favorite grooves he laid down for Philadelphia International Records, and (probably) his most famous and enduring bass line (you know it!) as played with Evelyn 'Champagne' King in 1977.

I'll break down the line, what makes it such a 'hook', and why a disco hit was able to outlast the disco genre.

Many thanks to @dgwansel for his comment on the last vid!
