“This was a really special place for me as a child. I would come here and spend time in nature with my siblings, that was really beautiful and healing for me. I wanted to sing the song called “between i and she” off of empathogen because that song is about my connection to Mother Nature and seeing it like a relationship, my love song to the planet if you will. I have been realizing more and more how powerful a fashion vehicle can be within a musical aesthetic. I think that we can see them differently and two different art forms but, I love to see them as kind of informing one another - the sound of an album, the world that you’re trying to create, and then what are the clothes that exist in this world? What is the aesthetic that exists within this sonic landscape? That’s the way that I like to connect the fashion and music sides of my brain. I’m very honored and grateful to be able to be doing Spotify OUTSIDE in this beautiful place.”
