The Ben - Inshallah

Produced by Madebeat
Directed by @Jul@JulienBmjizzoffer: Bright Ngabo

On his latest Afrobeat & Afro-Pop single "Inshallah," Rwandan star The Ben explores the thrilling early stages of romance when the spark is real, but the chase is on. Blending English and Kinyarwanda, the track centers on the Arabic phrase Inshallah (God willing") a soulful nod to trusting the process, staying hopeful, and believing love will naturally find its way.

With its infectious groove and relatable message,
"Inshallah" is a perfect fit for East African hits, Afropop, and romantic feel good playlists.

LYRICS:
Now he’s thinkin’ bout me
Every night, oh
Is it that sweet?
I guess so
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me
Espresso
Move it up down
Left right, oh
Switch it up like Nintendo
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me
Espresso

I can’t relate
To desperation
My ‘give a fucks’ are on vacation
And I got this one boy
And he won’t stop calling
When they act this way
I know I got em’

Too bad your ex don’t do it for ya
Walked in and dream came trued it for ya
Soft skin and I perfumed it for ya
I know I Mountain Dew it for ya
That morning coffee brewed it for ya
One touch and I brand newed it for ya

Now he’s thinkin’ bout me
Every night, oh
Is it that sweet?
I guess so
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me
Espresso
Move it up down
Left right, oh
Switch it up like Nintendo
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me
Espresso

(Holy shit)
Is it that sweet? I guess so

I’m working late
Cause I’m a singer
Oh he looks so cute
Wrapped around my finger
My twisted humor
Make him laugh so often
My honey bee
Come and get this pollen

Too bad your ex don’t do it for ya
Walked in and dream came trued it for ya
Soft skin and I perfumed it for ya
I know I Mountain Dew it for ya
That morning coffee brewed it for ya
One touch and I brand newed it for ya

Now he’s thinkin’ bout me
Every night, oh
Is it that sweet?
I guess so
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me
Espresso
Move it up down
Left right, oh
Switch it up like Nintendo
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me
Espresso

He’s thinkin’ bout me
Every night, oh
Is it that sweet?
I guess so
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me
Espresso
Move it up down
Left right, oh
Switch it up like Nintendo
Say you can’t sleep
Baby I know
That’s that me

Is it that sweet? I guess so

Lyrics:
Sometimes I swear I smell your cigarette in the backseat of my car
What I wouldn't give for one more hit behind the Jacksonville Walmart
Tonight I broke when I thought of a joke that only you would get
I can't believe it's almost gonna be six years, ain't that some shit

Yeah, I miss you man when I hear the band
In the bar on Fifth and Main
Yeah, we tore it up, but I don't go there much
Anymore it just ain't the same
I'll never understand
But I guess the Big Man had a whole other set of plans
I’ll keep carrying on your vibes and your songs the best I can
But I miss you man

For a while it was tough, used to beat myself up
For not saying more while you were here
But there ain't no doubt, we could cover some ground
Over a couple of rounds of beers

Yeah, I reminisce about ya, I tell my kids about ya
Still got that picture of us down in the Keys
So many yesterdays, never gonna fade away
Raising one up to you and me

Yeah, I miss you man when I hear the band
In the bar on Fifth and Main
Yeah, we tore it up, but I don't go there much
Anymore it just ain't the same
I'll never understand
But I guess the Big Man had a whole other set of plans
I keep carrying on your vibes and your songs the best I can
But I miss you man

I miss you man
I feel you man
Hey, love you man

Yeah, I miss you man when I hear the band
In the bar on Fifth and Main
Yeah, we tore it up, but I don't go there much
Anymore it just ain't the same
I'll never understand
I guess the Big Man had a whole other set of plans
I’ll keep carrying on your vibes and your songs the best I can
But I miss you man

Yeah, I miss you man
Hey, miss you man

In this episode of The Manager's Playbook, Ray Daniels - industry veteran, hitmaker, host of The GAUDS Show and founder of R.A.Y.D.A.R. Management - unpacks the real music business: the power plays, the pitfalls, and the personal lessons that shaped him.

From managing superstar songwriter Theron Thomas to being blackballed and building back, Ray takes us through the highs, lows, and everything in between. We talk about the rise of the DIY era, how data shifted the role of the A&R, and why artists and managers need to think like scientists and storytellers.

This episode isn’t just a history lesson. It’s a strategy session. Ray keeps it honest about major labels, equity in deals, mentorship, and the importance of staying authentic while evolving.

Simply put, a conversation like this doesn’t come cheap.

Lyrics:

Jeena uske bina hai to
Jeene-marne me fark kya..???

Tune Diwana jo banaya
To mana main khudaya
Ye teri raza hai na

Tune Diwana jo banaya
To mana main khudaya

Tu dikha koi raasta
Dil jalon ko na jaa chhod ke …

Ye bhi hai koyi shart kya

Fat Joe and Jadakiss are joined by two legends in the hip hop game, as super-producers Hit-Boy and The Alchemist sit down to discuss their upcoming collaboration album ‘Goldfish.’ Joe and Jada ask Hit-Boy about his most iconic records, including “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott featuring Drake, “A Milli” by Lil Wayne, "Backstreet Freestyle" by Kendrick Lamar, and “N****s In Paris” by Jay-Z and Ye (f.k.a. Kanye West). The Alchemist talks about his work with Havoc and Prodigy as Mobb Deep’s unofficial third member, Joe giving him his big break by hopping on the remix to Cypress Hill’s “Tequila Sunrise,” Eminem’s superhuman work ethic, and an UNHINGED story from being in the studio with Joe and Big Pun. Joe also tells a story about an unfortunate run-in he had with Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak at an awards show.

Lyrics:
Seven generations from a dirt road corn crop
Boots ain’t ever seen easy street
Where a skeeter gets slapped ‘bout as fast a star drops
Roots run deep in this family tree
Oooo bust your ass, still won’t make a killing
Oooo it’s a lifestyle, it ain’t a livin’

From the red, white and blue flying high at the farm
To the Boone and Crockett stud on the wall in the barn
Where the magnolias bloom there’s a lab on the lawn
Where your buddy and your boat both got the name John
In God we trust
Detroit we rust
Redneck letter testifying
From the born in the cut
‘Til the day that I’m dust
I’mma stay country or die tryin’

I don’t do much thinking ‘bout time in a pine box
Sure as hell ain’t scared to go
I’m a hardheaded God fearing man from the boondocks
Chisel that s*it on my cobble headstone

Oooo Bible and an almanac up on the shelf
Oooo daddy prayed for rain
Momma prayed for me to stay out of hell

From the red, white and blue flying high at the farm
To the Boone and Crockett stud on the wall in the barn
Where the magnolias bloom there’s a lab on the lawn
Where your buddy and your boat both got the name John
In God we trust
Detroit we rust
Redneck letter testifying
From the born in the cut
‘Til the day that I’m dust
I’mma stay country or die tryin’

Oooo baptize me where the waters real muddy
Oooo wash me clean still come up country

From the red, white and blue flying high at the farm
To the Boone and Crockett stud on the wall in the barn
Where the magnolias bloom there’s a lab on the lawn
Where your buddy and your boat both got the name John
In God we trust
Detroit we rust
Redneck letter testifying
From the born in the cut
‘Til the day that I’m dust
I’mma stay country or die tryin’
Or die tryin’

Lyrics:

Tu m’as fait glissé
Mon bébé tu veux jouer, on peut jouer,
Mais c’est risqué
Sometimes

Gum body, Gum body
spend money
Spend money, fais moi spend money

Lyrics:

Oh leaves are covered in snow
And the water’s frozen
Oh I long for you to be the one that I’m holding
And warm me down to my bones
As you lay beside me hold me close

Oh leaves are starting to fall
And the sun grows cold
And my heart might break from the weight of it all
For all that I know, you could be holding somebody else as close

When I’m home I’ll hold you like I’m supposed to
Yet I know that I have never told you
Darling we could fall in love
Neath the hills of Aberfeldy

Oh ground is slowly melting
And the sun beats strong
And I feel like my feet may have wandered too long
And I will remain here alone
‘Coz I fear that you may have found someone

When I’m home I’ll hold you like I’m supposed to
Yet I know that I have never told you
Darling we could fall in love
Neath the hills of Aberfeldy
Darling we could fall in love
Neath the hills of Aberfeldy

Wherever I go I will always find
Another stranger to share in the weight of my crimes
And I know you will never find
Another heart that wants you more than mine

LYRICS:

I’m half the man I used to be
It’s gon’ take some getting used to me
I used to think I had it all
But when you’re up all you do is fall
And that’s why I’m
Half the man I used to be

Trials and tribulations
All my past trauma
Generational curses from daddy and mama
Heartbreak and lies
Dirty soul ties
Mixed with addictions that clouded my eyes
I’ve been mistaken and taken for granted
and locked in the prison that I call my mind
And now that I’ve lived and I’ve learned
And I’ve built and I’ve burned all these bridges I’ll leave it behind
And that’s why

I’m half the man I used to be
It’s gon’ take some getting used to me
I used to think I had it all
But when you’re up all you do is fall
And that’s why I’m
Half the man I used to be

Don’t ask the reason I changed
Ask yourself why you stayed the same
I couldn’t sleep in that bed I made
I needed more in life
I tried every remedy prescribed
Getting drunk every night
Letting women waste my time
Now I’m in a phase I can sleep alone
I don’t ever chase, I got God
Letting go of pain that was never mine
Trying to bear the weights
not my job
Cause that’s the man i used to be
And he ain't no use to me

I’m half the man I used to be
It’s gon’ take some getting used to me
I used to think I had it all
But when you’re up all you do is fall
And that’s why I’m
Half the man I used to be

I’m half the man I used to be
It’s gon’ take some getting used to me
I used to think I had it all
But when you’re up all you do is fall
And that’s why I’m
Half the man I used to be

►Lyrics:
Prayers are useless
Seeing double
Another Friday night
Three vodkas deep
Another level
Fucking dynamite

Money gone
Vision gone
Think I’m God
Love is gone

I'm not abusing anything
That shit's abusing me
Another round
Delete 'em now
Let's go bartender, please

Money gone
Vision gone
Think I’m God
Love is gone

All alone, it's last call again
I want another one, don't need another one
Pull the trigger, let's watch it end
Gimme another cause

All the love is gone
Got a hole in my heart filled with nothing
I can't breathe cause all the love is gone
All the love is gone

I lost my wallet
Can't find my keys
My bag's been empty since 2:15
I'm sinking deep
Just met the devil
I'm still going
Another level

All alone, it's last call again
I want another one, don't need another one
Pull the trigger, let's watch it end
Gimme another cause

All the love is gone
Got a hole in my heart filled with nothing
I can't breathe cause all the love is gone
All the love is gone

I'm sinking deep
Just met the devil

Another level

Money gone
Vision gone
Think I’m God
Love is gone

Lyrics:

No, I don't miss the feeling anymore
Yeah, I want something new to love
I was so nostalgic,
but I'm fine without it
You don't really want what you think you want
No, I don't wanna lose it
this emotion
Yeah, I just wanna do everything
I get so excited
when I finally find it
It just gets brighter from now on

Then you sigh:
"You know I love you, so I think I should tell you, Porter,
this life: isn't it time that you grow up?"

(Chorus)
Oh, it's calling
I just can't stop, I'm sorry
I can feel a new day dawning
(I burn up, burn out -
I shouldn't do this to myself)

But sincerely,
Can't you feel what I'm feeling?
I can see my life so clearly
(I burn up, burn out -
I shouldn't do this to myself)

Well, this is why we do it,
for the feeling.
How do you do music?
Well, it's easy:
You just face your fears and
you become your heroes
I don't understand why you're freaking out

Then they say:
"Fine, well do what you need to
But I don’t want to see you
Wasting your life
Isn’t it time you get a job?"

(Chorus)
Oh, it's calling
I just can't stop, I'm sorry
I can feel a new day dawning
(I burn up, burn out -
I shouldn't do this to myself)

But sincerely,
Can't you feel what I'm feeling?
I can see my life so clearly
(I burn up, burn out -
I shouldn't do this to myself)

But sincerely,
Can't you feel what I'm feeling?
I can see my life so clearly,
and I know it doesn't last,
but I don't mind at all anymore

(Chorus)
Oh, it's calling
I just can't stop, I'm sorry
I can feel a new day dawning
(I burn up, burn out -
I shouldn't do this to myself)

But sincerely,
Can't you feel what I'm feeling?
I can see my life so clearly
(I burn up, burn out -
I shouldn't do this to myself)
