In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed – ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).

In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

Mae Muller will represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool with the song I Wrote A Song.

Thanks to participating broadcaster BBC: @BBC

~~~~~ Lyrics ~~~~~
When you said you were leavin’
To work on your mental health
You didn’t mention the cheating
You kept that one to yourself
I got so mad was gonna
Cuss you out, outside your house
For everyone to see
Wanted to trash your Benz, tell all your friends
How cruel you were to me
Instead I wrote a song
‘bout how you did me wrong
I could have cried at home
And spent the night alone
Instead i wrote a song
I feel much better now
Me and my girls are out
And we all sing along
Instead I wrote a song
Instead I wrote a song
I kept my cool and composure
My mother would be so proud
I was ready for a sentence baby
Instead I wrote it all down
Oh I was gonna
Cuss you out, outside your house
For everyone to see
Wanted to trash your Benz, tell all your friends
How cruel you were to me
Instead I wrote a song
‘bout how you did me wrong
I could have cried at home
And spent the night alone
Instead i wrote a song
I feel much better now
Me and my girls are out
And we all sing along
Instead I wrote a song
Instead I wrote a song
Look into my eyes, she’s feeling good, she feels alive
So don’t you call my phone tonight, tonight, tonight
No lie, got a kick telling the world just what you did
I’m better now, I burned the bridge
Raising a glass, taking a sip.
Let’s celebrate
Dance it away
I thought my heart would break
Instead i wrote a song
‘bout how you did me wrong
I could have cried at home
And spent the night alone
Instead i wrote a song
I feel much better now
Me and my girls are out
And we all sing along
Instead I wrote a song
One more chance to fall asleep
inside this nightmare that’s taking every part of me
If you scratch under the surface, try to find a purpose, I wonder what the dead would find
Trapped inside the prison of my mind and I’m…
Sick of messing up up but forget it now
Every time I try to stop stop I fall apart
Lost deep down I’m searching for a glimpse of hope
Im sick of messing up up but forget it now
Believe in me
And set me free
I’ll drag these memories through the dark void
Just let me be
My savior, please
Help me crawl out the darkness
If you’re digging through the dirt to see what you can find inside
Trapped inside the prison of my mind and I…
Tried to live in the moment
Lost my mind now I’m broken
Can’t escape the darkness that’s been dragging me down
Lost deep down I’m searching for a glimpse of hope
Believe in me
And set me free
I’ll drag these memories through the dark void
Just let me be
My savior, please
Give me hope for the hopeless
Through the dark void
One more chance to fall asleep
inside this nightmare that’s taking every part of me
Believe in me
And set me free
I’ll drag these memories through the dark void
Just let me be
My savior, please
Help me crawl out the darkness
Believe in me
And set me free
I’ll drag these memories through the dark void.
Lyrics:
Hey kid, you're gonna be just fine
as long as you walk the line
I know one thing's true
I don't ever want to end up like you
Won't need to hold my hand
What you want isn't part of my plan
When they say follow your dreams
I guess this isn't what they mean
Wish I ended up just like you did
You still look at me and see a kid
So what? Grow up
it's never enough.
I'm out of touch with what you think is cool.
I basically slept my way through every day at school
Read the sign on my door, "keep out"!
Can't hear you knocking cause the music's too loud
Dad yelling, "keep it down; you'll ruin your life if you don't turn it around!"
If I'm such a failure in your eyes
it should really come as no surprise
I won't grow up if it's never enough
Never enough
Never enough
Never enough
Despite all your rage
I won't be stuck in a cage
What do you want from me?
A steady job and a family?
You live your life, and I'll live mine
If you didn't notice, I'm doing alright
You're living. But are you really alive?
Wish I ended up just like you did.
You still look at me and see a kid
So what? Grow up; it's never enough
If I'm such a failure in your eyes
it should really come as no surprise
I won't grow up if it's never enough
ENRAGE
(Music and Lyrics by Juliano Ribeiro)
Wrath within
Your shallow lies conspire against me
Deteriorate inside
My enemy
Consider this your final warning
The end of this strife
Say my name once again
And feel the anger recreated
Never mind the reverie
Never mind the sun
Embrace it one last time
Never mind the memories
Never mind the gods
Embrace it, embrace it one last time
Never mind the sun
Enrage
Rage within
Crownless with a sense of urgency
Disintegrate inside
My reckoning
Until the day we reach the ending
The end of all life
Never mind the reverie
Never mind the sun
Embrace it one last time
Never mind the memories
Never mind the gods
Embrace it, embrace it one last time
Never mind the sun
Enrage
As the world returns to ashes
And you say my name again
As the world returns to ashes
Embrace the rage within
Say my name once again
And feel the anger recreated
Never mind the reverie
Never mind the sun
Embrace it one last time
Never mind the memories
Never mind the gods
Embrace it, embrace it one last time
Never mind the sun
Enrage
Lyrics:
In lands of execution let’s create new traditions
You cannot tie us down
Even with diamond chains
So go paint the floorboards just like Syd
Before your fabrication fades
Your distraction is a virtual cage
Let them crawl in your membrane
We reach for the sun
By slamming through a now broken window
Full charged by Triple AAA
We reach for the sun
By slamming through a now broken window
Until our batteries run out
You cannot break our spines
Now that we follow our own minds
We kill with guns
So let's aim at the skies instead
As long as no sparrows fall
And their eggs ain’t left unattended
Those chicks will be left unattended
Those chicks will be left
We reach for the sun
By slamming through a now broken window
Full charged by Triple AAA
We reach for the sun
By slamming through a now broken window
Until our batteries run out
LYRICS:
בכל אמת יש גם חולשה
לכל מפל ישנה תקומה
לכל כאב יש הצלחה
ובכל לב יש אהבה
You are the King/ I’ma crown You/
I'm just so happy I found You/
You give me air when I'm drowning/
Your Presence I feel is astounding/
It breaks my heart to let go/ so I just figure I wont/ I rather keep holding You close/ I’m already holding on strong/ sitting here gripping Your throne/
אז אני בא אליך שלם כמו כוכב
האר לי את פניך שהעולם ישיר איתי עכשיו
אתה הוא המלך הראה לי תדרך
אתה הוא מלכי החזר נשמתי
אתה הוא המלך האר לי תדרך
אתה תקוותי תקשיב לליבי
My God/ You Are/ The Holy One Wonders of Wonders/ You pulled me up took from under/ You turned my winters to Summer/ and I can’t understand why You love me/ I only see that I mess up things/ but somehow You bring to comfort/ and take away all of my struggles
בכל שלום יש גם פרידה לכל לכל במה יש מדרגה
לכל יסוד יש הוויה
ובכול שיר יש נשמה
I was tryna be free but I felt locked down/
I was tryna be me but I can't find how/ You are my compass directing me Closer/
Crying my eyes out getting to know you/ Im your beloved/ so hug me/ i'm running to You/ Your Majesty/ grab me i'm ready to
move/ together we screaming
YOU ARE MY KING!
אתה הוא המלך הראה לי תדרך
אתה הוא מלכי החזר נשמתי
אתה הוא המלך האר לי תדרך
אתה תקוותי תקשיב לליבי
אתה הוא המלך האר לי תדרך
אתה תקוותי תקשיב לליבי
