03.09.97 | Los Angeles, California - Notorious BIG aka Biggie Smalls was gunned down and murdered at the Peterson Auto Museum.

The Rapper Notorious BIG aka Biggie Smalls whose real name was Christopher Wallace was shot and killed while leaving the Peterson Auto Museum in Los Angeles.

Notorious BIG was in the passenger seat of his Blue Chevy Suburban when a car pulled up along side and fired several shots into the door and window of his car.

Notorious BIG was driven to Cedars Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival in the emergency room.

Several high profile rappers and fans rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital including Lil Kim, who can be seen in the crowd.

Close up video includes the bullet holes in the outside door and inside door panel of Notorious BIG's Blue Suburban. Broken glass can also be seen on the passenger seat.

No one has ever been charged in the murder of Notorious BIG
