The height of Migos-mania was one of those had-to-be-there moments that made all three members stars in their own right. A decade later, Quavo is on his third album, QRÖMELIFE, and taking stock of just how far he's come. The project, which was executive produced by Pharrell, captures what has made Quavo one of the most influential artists of his generation while also painting him in a new light.
The Atlanta rapper sat down for a conversation with Yung Miami, who shared a label with Quavo early in their respective careers. The pair talk about what QRÖMELIFE means to him, the Migos era, fatherhood and cementing his legacy. And, naturally, they play a few rounds of Resha Roulette that result in a footrace.

Jim Jones sits down to talk about the upcoming "Let's Rap About It" Sneaker Ball Gala, hip-hop fashion, Wale's emotional industry confession, and the legendary Dipset vs. The Lox Verzuz battle.
In this interview, Jim Jones covers:
The Let's Rap About It Gala — The 1-year anniversary pod gala (sneaker ball edition) on October 10th. Dress up, stay fresh, and throw on exclusive kicks.
Hip-hop fashion rankings — Jim names who's really fresh in the game, from Fabolous to Lil Baby to Peezy.
Wale's viral Twitter rant — Wale opened up about the toll the music industry takes on artists. Jim gives his take: "He needs therapy," but also relates to the struggle of staying creative, losing friends, and dealing with criticism.
The Lox vs. Dipset Verzuz at Madison Square Garden — Jim breaks down why the planned Lox/Dipset tour never happened, calling Cam'ron a "hater and a sore loser" who snubbed the tour after the Verzuz loss. He also recalls catching COVID at the Garden and calls the event one of the most iconic moments in hip-hop history.
The five P's — "Proper preparation prevents poor performance." Jim tips his hat to The Lox for being ready.

Max B sits down with VladTV to discuss his upbringing in Harlem, his rise in music, his relationships with Jim Jones and French Montana, and the legal case that ultimately cost him nearly 18 years of his life.
Max reflects on growing up in the Abraham Lincoln Houses and spending much of his childhood in the Hawthorne group home, where he says structure and organized activities helped shape him. He also opens up about losing his older brother Eric and how that tragedy affected him at a young age.
The conversation then turns to Max's music career, including signing with Jim Jones in the mid-2000s and contributing to Diary of a Summer. He discusses the development of his signature melodic style, his chemistry with French Montana, and how projects like Coke Wave helped build momentum for both artists. Max also talks about his versatility and the response to newer music following his release.
A major portion of the interview focuses on the robbery case involving Gina Conway and Pooh Sims. Max explains his role in the planning while maintaining that he was not present for the violence or murder that occurred. After initially receiving a 75-year sentence, he describes the post-conviction process that eventually led to a new plea agreement and a reduced 20-year sentence.
Max was released in 2025 after serving approximately 17 years and 10 months. He reflects on returning home, rebuilding his career, and preparing new projects including Wavy Pain, while adjusting to a music industry that changed dramatically during his incarceration.
Daz and Kurupt stopped by HOT 97 to talk to Nessa about their legendary careers, the legacy of Tha Dogg Pound and whether fans will ever get a follow-up to Dogg Food. They look back at their time with Tupac, including his plans to unite East and West Coast artists with One Nation, the story behind Pac giving Kurupt the name “Young Gotti,” and Daz producing some of Pac’s biggest records. They also revisit the real story behind “New York, New York,” why they believed the song was actually showing love to New York, and what happened after the video shoot changed direction.
Kurupt opens up about his sobriety, surviving a coma and Eminem helping pay for his first trip to rehab, while Daz shares what it was like watching his friend fight through it. They also reveal the surprising truth behind Kurupt’s famous voicemail on Jhené Aiko’s “Never Call Me,” share memories of Nate Dogg and Death Row, discuss Daz’s relationship with Snoop Dogg today, and reflect on the legacy they want to leave behind. Kurupt also talks about working with his idol Rakim and Masta Killa on The Godbody, featuring Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, KRS-One, Kool G Rap and more. The Godbody by Rakim, Kurupt and Masta Killa is out now.

For Gracie Abrams, growing up means learning to look inwards instead of pointing fingers. It means understanding that we’ve been both the antagonist and the protagonist in conflict. Growing up is recognizing that most honest songs come from the hardest-won perspective.
Gracie sits down with her friend and fellow songwriter Olivia Rodrigo to talk about her new album: a record two years in the making, built on tour buses, and finished in studios in London and New York. Gracie describes Daughter from Hell as more existential than diaristic. It’s less about relitigating the past, but rather understanding it with empathy and maturity.
Together, the two songwriters discuss Gracie's creative evolution, swap stories from the road, and dissect the making and meaning behind tracks like “Daughter from Hell” and “Humming.”
Between Olivia's genuine curiosity and Gracie's reflective nature, what unfolds is less an interview than a conversation between two artists who've watched each other grow. This is what it looks like when two of their generation's most gifted songwriters finally get a moment to just sit and talk.

Tony Yayo returns to VladTV to discuss his expanding media career, the latest hip-hop headlines, and some of the biggest legal cases making news.
Yayo begins by thanking VladTV and Complex for helping him grow beyond music, as he discusses his new shows, including Feed Yayo. He reflects on transitioning from rap to media, the evolution of VladTV from the DVD era to YouTube, and why consistency has been the key to long-term success.
The conversation then turns to the upcoming Keefe D murder trial. Yayo reacts to Keefe D rejecting a reported 10-to-25-year plea deal in favor of going to trial with a public defender, explaining why he believes accepting the plea would have been the smarter decision. He and Vlad also discuss YG’s ongoing legal issues, Charleston White’s recent confrontation in Houston, and several other high-profile criminal cases making headlines.
Later, Yayo shares his thoughts on the current state of hip-hop, including the controversy surrounding Pusha T’s latest album and the lasting influence of legendary producer Rick Rubin, giving him credit for helping launch artists like the Geto Boys and Sir Mix-a-Lot. The two also praise Sir Mix-a-Lot for writing, producing, and performing “Baby Got Back” entirely on his own.
The interview wraps up with a nostalgic look back at G-Unit, as Yayo and Vlad discuss the group’s biggest records, the success of the G-Unit sneaker line, 50 Cent’s growing media empire, Drake’s continued dominance in streaming, and the importance of staying humble in both business and entertainment.

Wack 100 returns to VladTV to break down several of the biggest criminal cases currently making headlines, including Keefe D’s upcoming murder trial, Big U’s federal indictment, and the legal troubles surrounding YG and other prominent figures in hip-hop.
The conversation begins with Keefe D, who recently rejected a plea deal that would have resulted in a 10-to-25-year sentence. Wack shares his thoughts on the decision, discusses the judge’s reference to VladTV and Keefe D’s own book during court proceedings, and questions whether taking the case to trial is worth the risk. He also expresses concern about Keefe D’s safety in prison due to his age and the perception that he cooperated with authorities.
The discussion then shifts to Big U, who is now facing a new federal indictment that includes multiple serious charges, including solicitation to commit murder and witness tampering. Wack and Vlad analyze the strength of the government’s case, the possibility of additional charges, and why the allegations could result in a life sentence if prosecutors secure convictions.
They also examine the ongoing legal cases involving YG and the murder of Drakeo the Ruler, as well as the highly publicized trial of singer David, who faces the possibility of the death penalty after being accused of murdering a 14-year-old girl. Vlad and Wack debate the challenges prosecutors face in proving these cases and discuss the role of evidence, social media, and public opinion.
Later, the conversation turns to Charleston White, with Wack reacting to Charleston’s confrontation with J. Prince and his continued cooperation with law enforcement. They also discuss Big Meech, sealed court documents, and the long-term consequences of criminal allegations in the entertainment industry.
The interview concludes with a discussion about YouTube culture, online trolling, and Wack’s strategy of mass-reporting channels he believes violate platform rules, sparking a broader debate about free speech, accountability, and the responsibilities of content creators.
