Bailey Zimmerman: Up Next Film | Apple Music

“This truck reminds me of who I am, how I’ve built it—how I’ve built me as a person,” Bailey Zimmerman tells Apple Music. Growing up in the small town of Louisville, Illinois, the singer-songwriter went from customizing trucks with his brother at his shop to signing a record deal in five months.

In an exclusive short film, Zimmerman shows some of his favorite spots in Nashville, explains how he uses golf as an outlet to escape his day-to-day life as a singer, and shares how hard it was to move out of his hometown to Nashville. “I was really worried moving out of town and moving away from where I lived my whole life,” he says. “Not being around my mom was pretty tough. Still, to this day, I hate not being around my mom.”

In an interview with Apple Music’s Kelleigh Bannen, Bailey discussed his dream collaborations, how he’s been handling his newfound stardom, and what’s up next for him in 2023.
