Beyond The Infinite? A Journey Into European Underground Rock Music [Documentary]
“If you make Rock music and smoke weed, then you get Stoner Rock, that’s basically it.
Nothing more to add? Well, Beyond The Infinite does. Not by pigeonholing a musical style or trying to explain everything out there. But by drawing a portrait of a vivid underground community going its own way. It’s not only a film about music, but about dedicated people all over Europe wanting to create something all together.”
“I made this film as part of my master thesis in Visual Cultural Studies at University of Tromso, Norway. All filmed on beautiful miniDV tapes, no digital HighDef stuff .Since this was very much a DIY-project, please forgive the poor audio quality and lack of colour correction.”

A little bit more about the Autor:
"Sandro, born in 1987, studied cultural anthropology and media studies in Basel. After first contacts with the subject of film on a theoretical level, he also began to realize his own ethnographic film projects as part of various research work.
In the summer of 2011, Sandro moved to Tromsø in Norway for two years to complete the Masters Degree in Visual Cultural Studies. He was able to approach his first major documentary film project.
Since 2013 he has been working as a promo editor for Swiss Radio und Television. Occasionally, he continues to realize small film projects, especially in the field of music / documentary. Above all, he is interested in the potential of the medium of film in the creative potential of everyday life with all its phenomena, as well as the resulting interfaces and discussions between art, science, fiction and reality."
I hope y'all enjoy in this documentary as it represent a valuable piece of history about stoner rock artists and it's/our community. Also eternal gratitude to Sandro Müntener and all others who made this happen,
peace,
Morphy.
