Hip-Hop turns 50 this year. In that timeframe we have seen some of the most iconic artists rise to fame, with starts ranging from the projects to being well off. The point is Hip-Hop culture has engulfed the world. Battle Rap has taken on a whole new form and these two are at the forefront and looked at as pillars of the culture!

Dizaster is world renowned as an international icon. Beyond the views, he has been one of the culture's biggest megaphones for bringing light to the art! We were blessed to have him take this battle with 3 days notice and it being his first time in SLC, our scene made sure to let him know he was appreciated!

Marv Won's accolades run deep, that's obvious. But what those accolades don't show is the time spent, miles travelled, and lives touched by his presence. Marv is not just a Detroit Rap legend, he is on the BET top 50 best battle rappers list - along with Dizaster. Also taking this battle in 3 days, Marv knew the assignment and wanted to put on a classic not just for SLC but for Battle Rap!
