A band from Flint, MI manages to surpass The Beatles when they sell-out NYC's Shea Stadium in 72 hours (it took The Beatles 5 weeks). This concert was originally filmed for an hour-TV special but, because of 'problems' with the band's management, ultimately caused the footage to be shelved for 50 years, never to be broadcasted on television, ever.
This 'subpar' quality digital transfer has only recently surfaced for many to see on YouTube in early 2022 by user Acervo Rogerio KISS. Now where or how he got his hands on it, I have no idea. But, a real 'treat' for fans of this Flint, MI band.
I noticed that maybe 'improving' the audio to what was released by the band in 2002 of a their 1971 tour CD release, might make this video more enjoyable, so I sync'd up as much as I could with the visuals of the Shea Stadium concert.
Mind you, some of this audio is NOT from the concert but from other performances during that same time period, Summer 1971.
