Hip-Hop Artist, Ahmad Talks Life After Hit Record ‘Back In The Day’. If you grew up in LA, watched The Wood, or just know good hip-hop music then you know the hit song ‘Back in The Day’. Did you ever wonder what happened to Ahmad after making the classic hit record? Well I got a chance to catch up with him, and he has been nothing less than busy. Ahmad grew up in South Central LA during the LA riots and now he holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford and a Master’s from USC.
