Janae Nierah Wherry (born April 15, 1998), known professionally as Sexyy Red, is an American rapper. She first garnered viral attention in 2018, for reworking Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" on her track "Ah Thousand Jugs".[3] In 2022, she collaborated with Summer Walker on the controversial music video "Sense Dat God Gave You".[4] Her mainstream breakthrough came after she released the single "Pound Town" (with Tay Keith) in January 2023, which later spawned a remix with Nicki Minaj titled "Pound Town 2", and became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
