Logic: ‘Vinyl Days,’ 12-Day Recording Session, and His Return to Music | Apple Music
Logic joins Zane Lowe in the studio for a conversation about his eighth studio album, ‘Vinyl Days,’ and his decision to come out of retirement and start releasing music again.
Logic explains that the internet and social media perception had a lot to do with his decision to step out of the spotlight. This choice afforded him more time to spend with his son, explore personal projects, and make music without the pressure of appealing to others. In creating this mixtape, Logic strengthened his relationships with friends and mentors like Egon, and taught him the value of reaching out to strangers. Logic created ‘Vinyl Days’ over the span of 12 days, and is particularly proud of the bars that have come out of this project.
