“Eres Tu” was the Spanish entry for the Eurovision Songcontest 1973 held in Luxembourg on April 7. The song is completely sung in The Spanish language. The group was originated in Bilbao. Eres Tu was the runner up on the winning song of Anne-Marie David from Luxembourg called “Tu te reconnaîtras”, but became a far bigger hit, as did the number 3 of the Contest Cliff Richard with “Power To All Our Friends”. “Eres Tu” became a hit in Europoe and hit the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. In the special songcontest program “Congratulations” from 2005 it was chosen as one of the 14 best Eurovision Songcontest songs.
