We recently sat down with South Dakota based artist YCN Rob for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about being the first artist from South Dakota to sit on the porch, growing up in Minnesota, explains why he moved to South Dakota, the way of life in South Dakota, his childhood in Minnesota, becoming a father when he was 17, releasing his first song less than 2 years ago, a fan from Iowa reaching out to him to tell him how much his music helped him, being vulnerable in his music, using his music as therapy for himself, his thoughts on going to therapy, jumping off the porch when he was 13, reveals one of the biggest lessons he has learned, the inspiration for his singles “Days N Nights” & “Thanks To You”, upcoming single with Lil Donald, being a big fan of JuiceWrld, artists he would like to work with, his son being his inspiration, goals, and much more!
