NewJeans brought the fun to Billboard's Women in Music event on (March 6), where they took to the stage to perform a high-energy mash-up of "ETA" and their viral hit, "Super Shy," before accepting the Group of the Year award.
Earlier in the night, the group stopped to chat with Billboard on the red carpet, where they were asked about touring and new music plans. "We can't spoil too much, but I'm just going to say that we're practicing and we're preparing hard,' Danielle subtly revealed. "We can't wait to share new music with everyone. We're really looking forward to it."
On weather or not they knew "Super Shy" was going to be a hit, the girls agreed that they loved the song from the start. "When we first heard it, we were all like, 'This is so catchty,'" Danielle said before Hanni added, "It was stuck in our heads when we were making it."
Danielle continued, "Its really the choreography and the feel of everyone dancing together and having fun, that really makes it a song that's like, 'We're together. We can do this."
