The Chicago Bulls documentary The Last Dance on Netflix took the world by storm. Back in the 90s I used to get up in the middle of the night to watch Michael Jordan and the Bulls on TV, so The Last Dance had a very nostalgic effect on me. Especially at the end of EP1, when SIRIUS started playing for the Chicago Bulls intro / starting lineup celebration, all the memories came flooding back! I immediately stopped watching and rushed into my studio to record my own version of the iconic theme song!

SIRIUS was originally released as the instrumental intro song on the album Eye in the Sky by The Alan Parsons Project. It was adopted by the Chicago Bulls as their theme song that played during the starting lineup player introductions and became a worldwide phenomenon, frequently being played at all kinds of sports events.

The original SIRIUS is quite short, so it is often edited to create extended versions, like it was done for The Last Dance soundtrack. Since I re-recorded all parts for this guitar cover, I made my own extended version by arranging it with a slower buildup to the guitar solo. I also extended the solo by composing a new second half based on the original.

Robert McElhiney James (born December 25, 1939) is a jazz and jazz fusion keyboardist, arranger and producer. During the 1970s, Bob James played a major role in turning fusion jazz more mainstream. "Angela", the instrumental theme from the 1970s television sitcom "Taxi", is probably Bob James' most well-known work to date. It was featured on "Touchdown", a 1978 jazz album which was a commercial breakout album for him. The song was named after the guest character in the third episode of the first season ("Blind Date"), but after hearing the song, the producers made this the show's main theme, replacing their previous choice, which became this album's title track. The title of the album is a reference to it being his sixth solo album, a touchdown being worth six points in American football. In addition to his solo work and high-profile collaborations with artists such as Earl Klugh and David Sanborn, James is also the founding member of contemporary jazz supergroup Fourplay. Very influenced by pop and movie music, James has often featured soloists who add a jazz touch to his sound (most notably Grover Washington, Jr.). While best known for his fusion sound, James began in 1962, recording a bop-ish trio set for Mercury. Three years later, his album for ESP was quite avant-garde, with electronic tapes used for effects. James is recognized as one of the progenitors of smooth jazz. His music has also had a profound effect on the history of hip-hop and pop music, having been sampled often. Two of James' songs -- "Nautilus" from 1974's "One" and "Take Me To The Mardi Gras" from 1975's "Two" -- are among the most sampled in hip-hop history, sampled in thirty-two and forty-three hip-hop recordings, respectively. James' music has been most famously sampled by Eric B. & Rakim, Run-D.M.C., Ghostface Killah, Slick Rick, LL Cool J, The Beastie Boys, Missy Elliott, Will.i.am, Common, Wu-Tang Clan, Röyksopp, De La Soul, Warren G, André 3000, and N.W.A, among many others. LIV AND MADDIE

Liv and Maddie are back! 🎉Watch as the twins continue to navigate high school together, following Liv’s return home from the bright lights of Hollywood. 🌟

It’s not always easy getting used to normal life after starring in the television show Sing It Loud! but Liv is quickly making new friends at school and finding her way in life. She may no longer be performing every day, but she’ll still find a way to be the centre of attention when she can. 🎵

Meanwhile Maddie continues to dominate the basketball court, with her catchphrase “Bam! What?!”. 🏀Although it’s not always easy having to share the spotlight with her twin, she’s glad to have Liv back in her life.

Join the Rooney twins in this fun family sitcom, along with their brothers, awkward teenager Joey and young inventor Parker, as well as their parents vice principal Karen and coach Pete.

Liv and Maddie may have totally opposite personalities, but when it comes to helping each other out their unbreakable twin bond is always strong. So while they may not always see eye to eye, they’ll be there for each other no matter what. ❤️

Liv (Dove Cameron) is a former Hollywood star who has returned home to Wisconsin. She’s a social butterfly, who loves to sing and perform. 🎤She enjoys fashion and shopping, and is super honest. People often under-estimate her, but she’s actually pretty smart. 📚She may not always understand Maddie’s commitment to sport, but when it comes down to it she’ll do anything for her sister.

Maddie (Dove Cameron) is a high school basketball star, which means that she has a strong competitive streak! 💪She’s a hardworking student and worries more about her grades than the latest fashion. She can sometimes find Liv frustrating, but at the end of the day she’ll be there for her twin, no matter what. 💜

Joey (Joey Bragg) is Liv and Maddie’s teenage brother. He is quite awkward and a little eccentric. 🤓 He often ends up getting involved in his siblings’ crazy plans.

Parker (Tenzing Nor**** Trainor) is the youngest member of the Rooney family, and usually the most troublesome! 🤣He loves inventing things and often gets up to mischief with his friends.

Karen (Kali Rocha) is the vice principal at Ridgewood High School. 🏫She is super proud of her children and will do anything for her family. She is very organised and loves to hold a family meeting.

Pete (Benjamin King) is the school’s basketball coach and is also very competitive. 📣He loves sport and is a great dad, but can be a bit overprotective sometimes, especially when it comes to the boys Liv and Maddie are dating.
