By all accounts, Stack Bundles had what it took in those days to become a superstar. Some go as far as to say he could’ve been the next Biggie Smalls. They speak about his charisma, which was evident as soon as you watch anything he’s featured in. His chameleon esque look about him in that he could be the big bad bully in the movie if needed, he could play the fly gangster role, or the hood’s witty salesman that’s managed to sell just about everyone that’s listened to his music on a pipe dream that one day he was going to be the biggest in rap. You hear the same story over and over now a days of the need to elevate yourself outside of the place you call home in order to improve your safety as examples of that took far too many talented artist, harmed in their own city. R.I.P Chinx Drugs. Well Stack Bundles was one of the first of my generation to experience just what that meant. His story also shows how you could have it all and be right under the nose of success and find it even harder to get a foot in that door. Was Stack Bundles being used for his wave? Lyrics:
I don’t want to hear the good side of this goodbye
If you want to go baby just leave
Don’t tell me that you still care
And that I’ll always be special ‘cause those words don’t mean a damn thing
And I hate that I’m still up
Drunk as fuck 4 AM writing this damn song
But I guess I’m okay not being okay
Give it time and I’ll soon move on

You said my life was too fucked up
To be with you but here you go to the bar ‘til two and I
Want to know what he has that I don’t
Well I was ready for the real thing
No more shame in this life I live because I would change for you don’t know the hope you gave to me
But I guess I’m okay
Just need some cocaine and a bottle that’ll float my mind
Take a trip to another world
Where you would be mine

And I don’t want to hear the good side of this goodbye
If you want to go baby just leave
Don’t tell me that you still care
And that I’ll always be special ‘cause those words don’t mean a damn thing
And I hate that I’m still up
Drunk as fuck 4 AM writing this damn song
But I guess I’m okay not being okay
Give it time baby I’ll move on

I found a couple of your long hairs
In the passenger seat where you looked over and smiled at me
I guess a picture ain’t worth as many words as they say
And don’t tell me that’s it’s okay
I’ll find my own way
Don’t need your excuses to ease my pain I guess it’s just time for me to work on me

And I don’t want to hear the good side
There ain’t no good side
You ain’t ever gonna see what I see
Don’t tell me that you still care and you’ll always be there ‘cause those words are just messing with me
And I hate that I’m still up
Drunk as fuck 4 AM writing this damn song
But I guess I’m okay not being okay
Give it time baby I’ll move on

LYRICS:
She good
I'm good
We golden
Can't fix what isn't broken
She likes to start commotion
Cause that's what gets her open
Make sweet love to my baby
Kiss those lips
Drive her crazy
She wants her way
When she wants
I made a monster too much ain't enough for her
She like to fight
She like to fuck
She like to put friends in my biz
Taking off her clothes
Jumping on me quick
Say I better not fuck no other bitch
She kinda bi
She kinda polar
She kinds sexual
But everytime it ends we do it again
I'm waking up next to her
Feels like foreplay
Do whatever it takes
Get in my face
All I know is when
She good
I'm good
We golden
You can't fix what isn't broken
The type to start commotion
But that's what gets her open
We fuss
We fight
We fuckin
That good girl shit too boring
The type to start commotion
Cuz that's what keeps her open

Shawty get like that trip like that when she don’t get her way
Get revenge so fast
Try to lock me in the house to keep me in my place
When I think back
It’s some toxic shit
But I love my shawty anyway
When she get like that trip like that
Marathon night we don't get no rest
My girl
She like to fight
She like to fuck
She like to put friends in our biz
Taking off her clothes
Jumping on me quick
Say I better not fuck no other bitch
She kinda bi
She kinda polar
She kinds sexual
But everytime it ends I do it again
I'm waking up next to her
Feels like foreplay
Do whatever it takes
Get in my face
All I know is when
She’s good
I'm good
We golden
You can't fix what isn't broken

Listen to a moment from Brandon Lake singing his song "Gratitude" from his Album "House of Miracles" live at Bethel Church.

Get the Chords:
https://bethelmusic.com/chords-and-lyrics/

Lyrics:

Verse 1
All my words fall short
I got nothing new
How could I express
All my gratitude

Verse 2
I could sing these songs
As I often do
But every song must end
And You never do

Chorus
So I throw up my hands
And praise You again and again
‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujah, hallelujah
And I know it’s not much
But I’ve nothing else fit for a king
Except for a heart singing hallelujah
Hallelujah

Verse 3
I’ve got one response
I’ve got just one move
With my arms stretched wide
I will worship You

Bridge
Come on my soul
Oh don’t you get shy on me
Lift up your song
‘Cause you’ve got a lion inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord

Lyrics:

Wait a minute baby, going too fast
Imma turn back, oh
Wait a minute baby, going too fast
Imma turn back

Don't even know what we're fighting for
But, damn, I need a minute, so baby keep your distance
Heard it all, so Imma just go
Don't bother waiting up, I just need some time alone

Damn, where the hell are my keys
I just wanna leave,
Get in my car, and Imma just drive,
All night
Turn off my phone, radio on, and drive
So I'm just

Speeding down the road, and my head out of control
'Cause I'm thinking about you all the way home
Got a long way to ride and I can't even deny
I've been thinking about you all the way home

Live in Niamey, Niger.

In winter 2020, the Mdou Moctar band met up in Niamey, the capital of Niger, to record a few songs in anticipation of the release of, Afrique Victime. We were staying on the outskirts of town at a friend's home. One day, we quietly set up in front of the house to film a few songs. Despite our relative isolation, the noise of the band inevitably attracted a crowd. What started as the four of us simply playing a few songs for a camera turned into a three-night run of rowdy concerts, bringing in hundreds of eager listeners. Each night, kids from all over the city would line up at our door, rushing over after their final evening prayer. These performances were completely spontaneous and wholly unplanned. Thanks to our audience, we were able to capture the spectacular energy of a typical Niamey concert for you. We're thrilled about it and hope you will be, too. Enjoy!
