Kelly Jamerson had a six year old son and a one year old little girl at the time of his murder. His murder was never solved because too many LAPD & Compton Police Officers were present along with officers from other agencies. Reggie Wright Sr. called over to the investigator and encouraged him not to pursue charges in spite of having eye witnesses willing to testify to the crime.
