Today we are talking about Trinidad James; arguably one of the biggest one hit wonders to come out of the 2010's. Most well-known for his Platinum Certified single All Gold Everything; the rapper was actually a store clerk when he decided to try his hand at rapping. He dropped the single which consequently went viral and soon earned him a contract with a major label – non other than Def Jam Recordings. Poised to become the next big thing with a unique sound somewhere between Lil B’s free spirit and alternative beats and Whiz Khalifa’s hedonistic lyrics and loose flow; everyone couldn’t wait to see what he would become. They shouldn’t have waited. Two years after his highly publicized signing and certified single; he had questioned the skills of all New York rappers; been dropped from his label and to date has not dropped a single album. So what the heck happened? Let’s get into it guys.
