"Bleek could be one hit away his whole career, as long as I'm alive he's a millionaire" That line by Jayz in the Diamonds from Sierra Leon remix told me everything I needed to know about what happened to Bleek's career. The biggest takeaway was that Jayz was already coming to terms with Bleek never amounting to what he was set out to be early on. As an artist, Bleek wasn't bad at all. He had a unique sounding rap voice and all the opportunity in the world being attached to Jay since a young age. But for whatever reason, as Jay himself recognized, Bleek was incapable of making a hit song and therefore didn't reach his full potential. Did Jay-z have a hand in what happened?
