Lyrics:
It’s so silly of me to act like I don’t need you bad
When all, all I can think about is us since I seen you last I know I didn't have to walk away
All I had to do was ask for space
I’m telling you, be on your way
When I told you to fall back

So can you come pick up your clothes I have them folded Meet me at the door while it’s still open
I know it’s getting cold out, but it’s not frozen
So come pick up your clothes I have them folded

I’ll let your body decide if this is good enough for you Already folding it for you
Already folding it for you
I’ll let your body decide if this is good enough for you Already folding it for you
Already folded up for you

No matter what you do to switch the story up, I know I made my mark And I would still choose you through it all
That’s the crazy part (crazy part)
I don't need no more empty promises
Promise me that you got it
I don't need roses
Just need some flowers from my garden
Can’t you go back to how you loved on me when you started?
I’ll be here begging for ya
You should be giving me love all damn day
‘Til the day is done
So if you wanna go that way, I’ll be waiting on

For you to come pick up your clothes I have them folded Meet me at the door while it’s still open
I know it’s getting cold out, but it’s not frozen
So come pick up your clothes I have them folded
So come pick up your clothes I have them folded
Meet me at the door while it’s still open
I know it’s getting cold out, but tell me that it’s not frozen So come pick up your clothes I have them folded

I’ll let your body decide if this is good enough for you Already folded it for you
Already folding up for

The official YouTube channel of Atlantic Records artist Kehlani.

It doesn’t really need an explanation—you know exactly what Kehlani means when she sings. Without sugarcoating or softening a word, the Bay Area-born two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum songstress will drop a hard truth in one breath and flip a middle finger in the next. She may extend a seductive invitation or an empathetic plea before leaving you in your thoughts and feelings. Either way, she finds a way to consistently relate without filter. With each move, she strengthens this connection to listeners everywhere. Kehlani’s 2015 breakout mixtape You Should Be Here received a 2016 GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of “Best Urban Contemporary Album.” On its heels, her 2017 full-length debut SweetSexySavage bowed at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually went gold. Between selling out dates on the SweetSexySavage Tour, the record closed out the year on Pitchfork’s “The 50 Best Albums of 2017” and Rolling Stone’s “20 Best R&B Albums of 2017.”

Along the way, she contributed to Suicide Squad: The Album and The Fate of the Furious: The Album and guested on Cardi B’s double-platinum “Ring,” Kyle’s platinum “PLAYINWITME,” and Justin Bieber’s “Get Me,” to name a few. By 2020, she picked up three gold solo singles—"You Should Be Here,” “Honey,” and “Distraction,” for which she received her second GRAMMY® nomination for Best R&B performance. In addition, four platinum singles—“Gangsta,” “The Way” [feat. Chance the Rapper], “CRZY,” and “Nights Like This” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign] and streams in the billions. Not to mention, Billboard Women In Music honored her with the “Rule Breaker Award” as she gathered nominations at the Soul Train Awards and the American Music Awards. Plus, she made show-stopping appearances at Voodoo Music + More, Coachella, and beyond. In the aftermath of 2019’s chart-topping While We Wait mixtape, everything changed. She became a mom. As such, parenthood left an indelible imprint on her second full-length, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. Out May 8th, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t is described by Kehlani as her most mature body of work, featuring songs based on her own real experiences including recently released “Toxic” and “Everybody Business.” In the end, you’ll know exactly what’s on Kehlani’s mind, heart, and soul on It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.

Lyrics:

You gon' forever be mine
You gon' forever be mine
She know I'm one of a kind
She ain't see none of these guys
She know I don't do no harmonizing
I stroke her and give her a massage
I push her and tell her to strive
Rolls-Royce Phantom I let her recline
She say you forever be mine
You want chill or t up?
Bring me them guys get them beat up
Slow it down baby we ain't got to rush
Unless you want me to speed up
Hit it like a clutch with some speed on it
Open it, lick it, and spit on it
You counting on me, you can bet on it
We fly to the coast spring with the bread on it
She say she don't care if it's sweat on it
She wash it and clean it and take care of it
It's karma you know I took care of it
In public she cover like Arabics
It's mine forever and inherited
She know I'm one of a kind
She don't see none of these guys
She know I don't do no harmonizing
I stroke her and give a massage
I push her and tell her to strive
Rolls-Royce Phantom I let her recline
She say you forever be mine
She say forever be mine
Baby now you be my type
Want you to show me the sign
She say forever be mine
Swimmin' in your ocean
Baby girl come with the motion
They make me lose my composure
My lady one of a kind
I'll deal with you
My lady one of a kind
Chasing the money and I ain't dealin' with y'all no more
I'll deal with you
My lady one of a kind
She don't see none of you guys
She know I'm one of a kind
She know I'm one of a kind
She don't see none of these guys
She know I don't do no harmonizing
I stroke her and give her a massage
I push her and tell her to strive
Rolls Phantom I let her recline
She say you forever be mine
You give me the rush
I want her thighs vibrate
I like the vibe we curated
Take a little piece and we go to the moon
Shake up the room, earthquake
Staring in her eyes all day
My mama fine a mermaid
I take her with pride, she like my design
Never decline a good face
Lowkey when we sliding, straight A
When you with me it's a good day
When I’m fuckin on you, If I'm telling the truth, I've been thinking about you since the 12 day
Thinking about you, if you missing me too, well I'm out in saint-tropez
She know I'm one of a kind
She don't see none of these guys
She know I don't do no harmonizing
I stroke her and give her a massage
I push her and tell her to strive
Rolls Phantom I let her recline
She say you forever be mine
Give me the rush
Run that back Turbo

Pussy too good
I should've knew that it came with
Smart mouth
Attitude left hooks
Told myself
I put up with your shit
Because your ex could
Everything that's wrong with you
Your ex did (ex did)
You took all that baggage
And you gave it to your next nigga
Look inside my mirror
And I see myself as that nigga
Your homie said
She see me with a bitch
That was my step sister
(Was my step sister)
And you knew that was my step sister
(And you knew it)
Still you had the nerve
To go question it
And that's the type of shit
Make me think less of you
Oh you like to deflect
When I'm addressing shit (uh)
And that's just unacceptable
You say that it's better if we moved on
Told me best wishes (moved on)
As if you really want
What's best for me
Said I don't love you
Because I told you to leave
And then you left nigga
And she like how you leave for real

Hook

Fridayy Verse
girl I think you like this
love better when we be making up
it's like you choose violence
every time that you wake up
said you want a piece of mind
and that you had enough
but when it's up with you
it's stuck eh
you get in your feelings
saying words
you can't take back now
30 minutes later how
you want me to
blow your back out
the only reason
I love this toxic s***
that's when your p****
at its best now
and you know I'm about
to bust down
you listen to your friends
telling you lies
and then you buy it
don't tell me
where they man at
with all them answers
they should try it
my auntie told me
you go looking for s***
then you gonna find it
and if it's me and you
against the world
then I won't hide it
cause I miss when
when we had them old days
I wanna fight for it
I'm talking'bout teenage love
back then it was only us
25 cent 4

Crash Out (Crash Out)

Scarface Performs Hits with Jay-Z & Tupac, Talks Drake, Kendrick Lamar & Biggie | CLUB SHAY Hotney 419 Streams • 1 year ago

Scarface — the legendary rapper and Geto Boys icon — sits down with Shannon Sharpe at Club Shay Shay for an unfiltered conversation packed with raw stories, hip hop history, and unforgettable celebrity moments. Face takes the stage in New Balance shoes, jokes about “jonesing” Shannon, and sips award-winning Shay by Le Portier VSOP cognac. He reveals that he often plays golf with Shannon’s brother, Sterling Sharpe, calling him a scratch golfer still showing off his strength.

Born Brad Jordan in Houston, Scarface grew up with his grandmother, surrounded by his uncles’ music, a “crazy” grandfather, and the streets that shaped him. He recalls playing football like Walter Payton and Earl Campbell, ducking death during a store robbery, and surviving a shooting and open-heart surgery that stunned doctors. Face opens up about losing his biological father in a tragic shooting, his stepdad “standing in the gap,” and the sayings from his grandmother that still guide him.

Scarface reveals that Ice Cube, Ice-T, LL Cool J, and Will Smith inspired his storytelling style, and he names Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, KRS-One, Nas, Jay-Z, Q-Tip, T.I., and Lil Wayne among the greatest lyricists ever. He remembers beating Jay-Z, Eminem, and Prodigy for top lyricist honors in 2001, and says Chuck D, Big Daddy Kane, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J were his biggest influences. He talks about Black history being erased like old-school rappers being forgotten.

Face shares how Tupac became his “partner,” the wild stories from touring together, and the possibility they recorded Pac’s final song. He recalls being in the studio with Jay-Z as he freestyled verses without writing, and how Jay and DJ Khaled gave him lifelines when he was battling COVID and kidney failure like HOV did for Lil Wayne, DMX, 21 Savage. Scarface opens up about his own son ultimately donating a kidney to save his life. He talks about working with Kanye West, calling him a “cold” producer with beats for days, and having unreleased music together. Scarface also remembers discovering Ludacris as head of Def Jam South and learning from his mentor Ice Cube.

He weighs in on Jim Jones’ comments about influencing Nas, Drake’s claim that UK rappers are better than American rappers (“like saying Kobe is better than Jordan”), and ghostwriting in hip hop. He says Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift-caliber artists are the only ones making money from streaming, while calling for others to take their work off streaming platforms.

The conversation spans politics, fatherhood, and sports — from running for council to his love for the Houston Rockets, Kevin Durant, Jalen Green, the Texans, C.J. Stroud, and DeMeco Ryans, to respect for the young OKC Thunder. The episode closes with Scarface performing some of his biggest hits, breaking down their stories, and talking about making music with Mike Dean.

This is Scarface — from the streets of Houston to the studio with Tupac, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and beyond — telling the stories only he can.
