1년간의 성장과 그동안은 볼 수 없었던 부드러움이 담긴 '= (NEUN)'

새로움으로 무장한 여섯 소년들. JUST B가 세 번째 미니 앨범 '= (NEUN)'으로 7개월 만에 돌아왔다.

JUST B가 말하는 새로움에는 여러가지 뜻이 내포되어 있다. 단순히 새 시리즈의 시작이라는 것과 동시에 그동안 보여주지 않았던 콘셉트, 음악적인 색깔을 선보일 예정. 지난 1년간 강렬한 퍼포먼스와 컨셉츄얼한 곡으로 신인의 열정을 보여줬다면, 세 번째 미니 앨범을 통해 공감의 메시지와 함께 그동안의 성장과 기존에 볼 수 없었던 다양함을 담아냈다.

새롭게 전달하는 이번 메시지는 ‘평등’이다. Equal의 한국어 표현인 ‘는(NEUN)’을 앨범 명으로 표현한 것은 물론, 앨범과 타이틀곡 명에서 ‘= (Equals sign)’ 기호를 사용해 전하고자 하는 의미를 직관적으로 나타내고 있다.
타이틀곡 'ME= (나는)'은 ‘평등’라는 주제에 Rock, Hiphop, Reggae의 여러 장르 요소를 조화롭게 섞어 지루할 틈이 없게 한다. 또한 데뷔 앨범부터 수록곡 작업에 꾸준히 참여해온 ARTMATIC이 타이틀곡 제작을 맡으며 그룹의 유기성을 잃지 않으면서도 새로운 느낌을 준다.

거기에 뮤직비디오를 통해 JUST B가 말하는 'ME= (나는)'이 무엇인지, 전하고자 하는 메시지를 확고히 한다. 각자 다른 공간 속에서 같은 행동을 하며, 서로가 이어져 있는 스토리에 본인만의 아이덴티티와 고유성을 가지며 각자의 다름을 표현하고 있다. 또한 LA 올로케이션 촬영으로 화려한 색감과 자유로운 청춘의 모습을 담아냈다.

JUST B, six boys loaded with freshness, is coming back with its third mini-album, '= (NEUN)', for the first time in seven months.

For JUST B, freshness carries several meanings. In addition to beginning a new series, the group will bring forward new concepts and musical personalities that they have yet to show. Whereas the previous albums demonstrated the passion of rookies through powerful performances and conceptual songs, the third album conveys a message of empathy in addition to showing how much JUST B has grown in a novel way.

Their new message is about “equality”. “NEUN”, the Korean word for “equal”, is the name of the new album, and the “= (equals sign)” in the names of the album and the title track intuitively expresses the message they want to convey.
The title track, 'ME= (NANEUN)' is a harmonious blend of rock, hip-hop, and reggae under the theme of “equality” that leaves no room for boredom. ARTMATIC, who has taken part in the production since the debut album, took charge of producing the title track, bringing fresh vibes to the song while maintaining the group’s overarching identity.

Furthermore, the music video solidifies JUST B’s message about what 'ME= (NANEUN)' is. The music video shows each member acting the same way in different spaces. While each story is connected, it has its own identity and uniqueness and expresses diversity. The entire music video was filmed in LA, and it captures the free-spiritedness of the youth in vivid colors.

JUST B made a memorable debut in 2021 and has established itself as a fourth-generation K-POP rookie. With the albums released over the past two years, each with a unique message and distinct color, they created a coherent series.

JUST B, who has already demonstrated its unlimited potential, collaborated with songwriters and choreographer who have worked with K-POP artists such as NU’EST and SEVENTEEN this time. They are expected to present an unparalleled musical concept through the upcoming album '= (NEUN)'.
