Lyrics -

[Intro: Missy Elliott]
Love it babe, love it babe, love it babe
Love it babe, love it babe, love it babe
Love it babe, love it babe, love it babe
Love it babe, love it babe, love it babe

[Verse 1: Aaliyah]
Baby, you don't know what you do to me
Between me and you I feel a chemistry
I won't let no one come and take your place
'Cause the love you give, it can't be replaced
See, no one else love me like you do
That's why I don't mind to spend my life with you
I wanna please you in anyway I can
I wanna share my world, don't you understand?

[Hook: Aaliyah]
Your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on
You give me a really good feelin', all day long
Your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on
You give me a really good feelin', all day long

[Verse 2: Aaliyah]
Turn me inside out, make my heart speak
Need no one else, you're all I need
Personality and everything you do
Makes me love everything about you
Your smile, your style
Is so fly, I can't deny
I got a crush on you, and that is true indeed

I'm diggin' you, you make me believe

[Hook: Aaliyah]
That your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on
You give me a really good feelin', all day long
Your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on
You give me a really good feelin', all day long

[Bridge: Aaliyah]
I'll give you anything you want from me
Anything you want, anything you need
Anything your soul desires
I'll give you anything you want from me
Anything you want anything you need
Anything your soul desires
Anything 'cause

[Hook: Aaliyah]
Your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on
You give me a really good feelin', all day long
Your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on
You give me a really good feelin', all day long
Your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on
You give me a really good feelin', all day long
Your love is a one in a million
It goes on and on and on

You give me a really good feelin', all day long

[Outro: Missy Elliott]
Love it babe, love it babe, love it babe

Lyrics:

[Intro]
Undeas!
Lil Ceaser!
Queen B!
That's Me!
Lil' Kim!

[Verse 1]
Yo, I be buyin' 'em V's, so all my girls be eyein' Cease
Comin' backstage, dyin' to get pleased
You got me, I rock thee, Versace and linen
While you stop your grinnin' wit' bunch of foxy women
Why you speed ball with cards, that's invalid
I get clothes, custom made, from a stylist
Cruise in my Lexus Land with no mileage
While you walk the street until your feet get calloused
Take you on a natural high, like a pilot
It be all good, toss your clothes like a salad
When it's all over, put your vote in my ballot
It's my diner, I'm Mel, and you're Alice
Spend a night, in Lil' Cease palace
It be all good as long as you don't act childish
While you standin' there with the Crist' in your cup
If worse come to worse keep this on the hush, uhh

[Chorus]
I know you seen me on the video (true)
I know you heard me on the radio (true)
But you still don't pay me no attention
Listenin' to what your girlfriends mention
He's a slut, he's a ho, he's a freak
Got a different girl every day of the week
It's cool, not tryin' to put a rush on you
I had to let you know that I got a crush on you

[Verse 2]
Ayo shorty, won't you go get a bag of the lethal
I'll be undressed in the bra all see through
Why you count your jewels thinkin' I'ma cheat you?
The only one thing I wanna do is freak you
Keep your stone sets, I got my own baguettes
And I'll be doin' things that you won't regret
Lil Kim, the Queen Bee, so you best take heed
Shall I proceed? (Yes indeed!)
I'ma throw shade if I can't get paid
Blow you up to your girl like the Army grenade
You can slide on my ice like the Escapade
And itchy-gitchy-yaya with the marmalade
Who me? Not you, oh yes, who's he?
I even dig yo' man's style, but I love yo' profile
Whisper in your ear and get you all shook up
But don't blush, just keep this on the hush

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
While you tryin' to catch Sea Breeze, I'm in the PV's
All chrome D3's, decked out TV's
CD's with crazy bass, keep my lady laced
Don't be fooled by the baby face
I hope ya not, 'cause your thighs got me hot
Only one plan, that's to rise to the top
I told you before, when I first pursued
I want a interlude, in the nude

[Verse 4]
You know I love the way you feel-a, sip my tequil-a
Works from the dealers, full-length chinchilla
Heat up the clutch, seven-fifty deluxe
Then we speed down the hutch, breakin' trees in the dutch
I'm not the one you sleep wit', to eat quick
Want a cheap trick, better go down to FreakNik
You got to hit me off, buy this girl gifts of course
So I look sick in my six with my Christian LaCroix

[Chorus]

Michael Jackson - Rock With You (Official Video) Hotney 7 Streams • 4 years ago

"Rock With You" was Michael Jackson's second short film, filmed in 1979 for the second No. 1 hit single from 'Off the Wall.' The Bruce Gowers-directed short film, featuring Michael dancing in a sequined jumpsuit and matching boots against a set of shimmering lasers, was ranked No. 6 on a list of Michael's 20 greatest videos by Rolling Stone.

From the album Off the Wall, released August 10, 1979
Released as a single November 3, 1979

THE SHORT FILM
Director: Bruce Gowers
Primary Production Location: Los Angeles, California

Although all of Michael Jackson's music videos are referred to as short films, the short films for Off the Wall, Michael's first solo album for Epic Records, are more classic "music videos," as they are performance clips rather than scripted stories. Michael's short film for "Rock With You" was the second of the three short films produced for recordings from that album. The single reached No. 1 in the United States in 1980, topping Billboard's Hot 100 and Hot R&B Singles charts and reaching No. 4 on Billboard's Year-End Hot 100 chart that same year.

"Rock With You" was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on February 14, 1980, and Platinum of February 14, 1989. The song was ranked No. 82 on Rolling Stone and MTV's list of the 100 Greatest Pop Songs in 2000. In his 1988 memoir Moonwalk, Michael called "Rock With You," written by Rod Temperton, "the sort of thing I was aiming for" in creating an album to his vision.

The short film featured Michael performing the song on a plain stage in a sequined jumpsuit and matching boots, a set of shimmering lasers illuminating his outfit from behind. Director Bruce Gowers praised Michael as "an absolute professional" in an interview with Rolling Stone. In 2014, the magazine would rank "Rock With You" No. 6 on a list of Michael Jackson's 20 Greatest Videos.

3 Rappers That Played Hip Hop The Right Way! Stunted Growth Music Hotney 6 Streams • 4 years ago

The music business is one of the biggest industries in the world. Revenue in music has risen substantially over the years, reaching an all time high in the U.S alone of nearly 16 million in sales according to the RIAA. Due to factors like streaming, social media and digital works that can now be sold, without the overhead of having physical CDs or tapes to offload, music has never been easier for talented artist to get a start and flourish in whatever lane they so choose. In the last 10+ years rappers have relied on using trends that became popular on social media, and the boom of the influencer industry to promote their music and join the wave all the way into financial success. Up until now I haven’t even mentioned the word talent. That’s because in that same span, talent believe it or not hasn’t been the biggest determining factor in if an artist can blow up or not, as long as they find an interesting way to attract eyes ears and followers, as they ride the trend all the way to shore. Back when hip hop first started it was all about talent. You didn’t have crutches like social media, YouTube covering artist in interview format daily, or streaming farms in some remote location running up the numbers to make an artist with a wealthy investor seem bigger than his talent actually is. You had to rap back then and you had to do it well. That means cadence, your bread and butter flow, which was important to switch up and come with new ones from time to time, stories, similes metaphors, braggadocios, entendres, charisma, and you had to be believable. Today I want to look at 3 rappers I think played the game the right way, against all those odds mentioned earlier, became stars in their time, each holding the crown at some point in their careers as the best rapper in the game. Sure they had flaws, as nothing is perfect, but as far as being a rapper, especially from an older time period like the 90s or early 2000s, these rappers got the most out of their 20+ years in the game and are still talked about today, most importantly, still alive and well, flourishing in other ventures now that they understand the genre that they love is a young man’s game and every artist has to find and be ready for that point they have to get off the ship. 3 Rappers That Played Hip Hop The Right Way! January 29, 2021 - Very sad news that legendary guitarist with The Animals HILTON VALENTINE has died. What can you say about this man who gave us so much in the world of rock n roll... it's hard to summarise but he was a beautiful, great, influential guitarist who blessed us with his talent and flair with so many unforgettable and legendary performances. Chuck Berry (!) once described Hilton Valentine as "a wildly exciting instrumentalist", absolutely yes! there was so much more to Hilton than House of the Rising Sun, please check out Hilton's stormin' performances on album tracks and live performances and you would soon hear why Chuck Berry would acknowledge Hilton in this way. Let it Rock! Hilton, we loved and admired you and forevermore thank you for all your innovative contributions to rock n roll and for your presence. Rest in Peace and Love Forever! (From your loving fan, Magusmagic).

ERIC BURDON has paid tribute to his fellow band member - 'The opening opus of Rising Sun will never sound the same!... You didn’t just play it, you lived it! Heartbroken by the sudden news of Hilton’s passing. We had great times together, Geordie lad. From the North Shields to the entire world...Rock In Peace'.

Lyrics:

I said a hip hop
Hippie to the hippie
The hip, hip a hop, and you don't stop, a rock it out
Bubba to the bang bang boogie, boobie to the boogie
To the rhythm of the boogie the beat
Now, what you hear is not a test I'm rappin' to the beat
And me, the groove, and my friends are gonna try to move your feet
See, I am Wonder Mike, and I'd like to say hello
To the black, to the white, the red and the brown
The purple and yellow, but first, I gotta
Bang bang, the boogie to the boogie
Say up jump the boogie to the bang bang boogie
Let's rock, you don't stop
Rock the rhythm that'll make your body rock
Well so far you've heard my voice but I brought two friends along
And the next on the mic is my man Hank
C'mon, Hank, sing that song, check it out
Well, I'm Imp the Dimp, the ladies' pimp
The women fight for my delight
But I'm the grandmaster with the three MCs
That shock the house for the young ladies
And when you come inside, into the front
You do the Freak, Spank, and do the Bump
And when the sucker MC's try to prove a point
We're Treacherous Trio, we're the serious joint
A from sun to sun and from day to day
I sit down and write a brand new rhyme
Because they say that miracles never cease
I've created a devastating masterpiece
I'm gonna rock the mic 'til you can't resist
Everybody, I say it goes like this
Well, I was coming home late one dark afternoon
A reporter stopped me for an interview
She said she's heard stories and she's heard fables
That I'm vicious on the mic and the turntable
This young reporter I did adore
So I rocked some vicious rhymes like I never did before
She said, "damn, fly guy, I'm in love with you
The Casanova legend must have been true"
I said, "by the way, baby, what's your name?"
Said, "I go by name of Lois Lane"
"And you could be my boyfriend, you surely can
Just let me quit my boyfriend called Superman"
I said, "he's a fairy, I do suppose
Flyin' through the air in pantyhose
He may be very sexy, or even cute
But he looks like a sucker in a blue and red suit"
I said, "you need a man who's got finesse
And his whole name across his chest
He may be able to fly all through the night
But can he rock a party 'til the early light?
He can't satisfy you with his little worm
But I can bust you out with my super sperm!"
I go do it, I go do it, I go do it, do it, do it
An' I'm here an' I'm there, I'm Big Ban Hank, I'm everywhere
Just throw your hands up in the air
And party hardy like you just don't care
Let's do it, don't stop, y'all, a tick tock, y'all, you don't stop!
Go ho-tel, mo-tel, whatcha gonna do today? (say what?)
I'm gonna get a fly girl, gonna get some spank, drive off in a def OJ
Everybody go, "ho-tel, mo-tel, Holiday Inn"
You say if your girl starts actin' up, then you take her friend
I say skip, dive, what can I say?
I can't fit 'em all inside my OJ
So I just take half, and bust 'em out
I give the rest to Master Gee so he can shock the house
I said M-A-S, T-E-R, a G with a double E
I said I go by the unforgettable name
Of the man they call the Master Gee
Well, my name is known all over the world
By all the foxy ladies and the pretty girls
I'm goin' down in history
As the baddest rapper there ever could be
Now I'm feelin' the highs and you're feelin' the lows
The beat starts gettin' into your toes
You start poppin' your fingers and stompin' your feet
And movin' your body while you're sitting in your seat
And then damn! Ya start doin' the freak, I said
Damn! Right outta your seat
Then you throw your hands high in the air
Ya rockin' to the rhythm, shake your derriere
Ya rockin' to the beat without a care
With the sureshot MCs for the affair
Now, I'm not as tall as the rest of the gang
But I rap to the beat just the same
