Lyrics:
I don’t know how n**** move nowadays
Back when we was young the trap was always miles away
Had no strategy, my attitude was die today
Bad depression, had to park it like a valet
I went to church but I got nervous what the pastor say
Spoke of greed, I always I felt like it was just for me
Poor decisions, I was stealing, wishing it would fade
Now they steal my vision, so I can’t say anything
Would we be the same? Dog I hang my head in shame
Always will and will prevail so go against the grain
Had to build this architect, the building booming
I’m in the hood with all my niggas feel like J'ouvert
Hit a jux to get the bread to buy a coogi
Iceberg, bubble goose, I’m eating poutine
More expansion on the house I need a new wing
Jordan flu game, 33, Ewing
I was broke, so damn right I’m doing two things
First time I took a flight, I knew two things
One was I could do this rap shit we don’t follow trends
Two was, I don’t know if imma be this high again
I was wrong, I hit the L, look like I lied again
Like my ladies natural queens and not with collagen
My spidey senses tingling in my metropolitan
I bend the block, masked up and move anonymous
Whats loyal?
Jammed up, pretend he never saw you
If you are my brother, you get everything, I’m spoiled
If you are my son, show them everything I taught you
Always paying homage to the homeys bred before you
On my side, something vague about the sunshine
Making money fold quick, how to the duck the one time
Since a younging man, the trauma brought me butterflies
Transgressions of them thugs counting hella pies

I remember, damn it was a cold December
LA on my mind but Brooklyn niggas know me better
Certainly, I’m fed up, standing, I never settle
I’m on my own, I really thought I had the perfect set up
Still reflecting on the things that we connected on
Still playing jams, I’m a stan when good records on
God blessed us all, some mature faster Lord
If it’s spoken loud, then you know it’s passion dog
If we smoking loud, then you know it’s pass it dog
If you scope us out, then we have to crack your jaw
Empty those clips out, you aint’t have to ask for more
I don’t preach the violence, thats just how I got involved
Always had my smarts, streets showed me it was written
Some niggas real g’s, others suffered for some fiction
Comping the predictions, raise the value not eviction
Cross faded, mixing, getting booted in my district
Always from the soul, I aint focused on who get it
I’m abrasive, I’m just really photogenic, give me credit
This is live, so we never a make no edit
Balling so athletic, they just fans and they wanting some aesthetic
What’s loyal?
Jammed up, pretend he never saw you
If you are my brother, you get everything, I’m spoiled
If you are my son, show them everything I taught you
Always paying homage to the homeys bred before you
On my side, something vague about the sunshine
Making money fold quick, how to the duck the one time
Since a younging man, the trauma brought me butterflies
Transgressions of them thugs counting hella pies

Mad Tsai - teenage nightmare (Official Music Video) Hotney 12 Streams • 2 years ago

hi my loves,

my new EP “teenage nightmare!” is finally yours. go stream and cry your eyes out with me.

a year ago, i was the most depressed i’d been in years. i wasn’t talking to friends, i didn’t want to write music, and i felt like i was going to completely disappear.

but now, in this moment, i feel so much joy and pride in being an artist and being able to give you this project.

this EP took blood, sweat, and tears to create as an independent artist. writing every song while i was still in school, creating treatments for the music videos, and building the world around “teenage nightmare!” was a painstaking process. i’m sitting here, crying as i’m typing this, because i’m happy to say that this project is now out in the world.

this EP is the story of me reconciling with my teenage years, rewriting myself as the main character of a teenage movie that i never really saw myself in. i was dealt with so much trauma growing up and i never really learned how to process it all, but this project helped me heal from those wounds and mature. i wrote this EP for my young fans who might be currently going through adolescence, but it’s also what i wished to say to my younger self— the confused and angry **** kid from the suburbs of california.

thank you to drew polovick and andrew luce for being my main collaborators on this project and seeing this project all the way through with me. you guys are the most talented and awesome producers and artist could ask for. thank you to graham cruser for mixing the hundreds of tracks and vocal stacks on each of these songs (i’m a maximalist at heart, i know).

and thank you guys for being so patient with me and being a part of my journey. teenage nightmare is my gift to you. i hope you love it.

I thought I’d die at seventeen
So why am I afraid
To accept I’m not perfectly
My dreams from seventh grade

I’m making up some fantasies
To stop the bills I pay
Cause’ once I move on mentally
I’ve slept my youth away

Tell me what’s wrong
With the world
Cause’ I’ve been turned
So cynical

Someone call mom
Life just hurts
And I need
Some medical

Can somebody please hear me when I say the pretty lies
That nothing ever matters and someday we’re gonna die
So I guess I’ll be your teenage nightmare

Your teenage nightmare (oh oh)

Hey little boy you wasted all your life
Trying to be best in class and now you’re out of time
Gonna drink away this feeling that these golden years have been a fucked up lie

Wanna runaway and live the life I missed
I’ve been searching for that feeling of eternal bliss
Look at this high achiever turn into a self-loathing narcissist

It’s the last prom
And I’m queen of
Land of broken dreams

Give me my crown
And I’ll sleep
Till’ the edge of seventeen

Society fucked all my dreams and made me feel so small
Don’t ever think I’ll move on from these broken high school halls
So I guess I’ll be your teenage nightmare

Your teenage nightmare (oh oh)

Hey! I burn everything I that touch
And I still don’t know how to self-love
And I think I’m insane but ain’t that the fucking world

Hey! And by the time I grow old
We’ll be fucked and ready to blow
So might as well go insane and blow our brains while we can

Teenage dreams are make believe when nothings real at all
Virginity and sanity I lost them in the fall
So I guess I’m be your teenage nightmare

Your teenage nightmare (oh oh)

Lyrics:

The game is up
No way to run
Beginning to take in the fact it’s the last anchor
I feel the rush
It’s building up
The simmering tension is rising and rising up

When running ain’t no more an option
We’re over the point of eruption
It’s time safeguard, time to safeguard my tower
Way too late to stop it
Heavy rain is dropping
It’s time to brace up

You’ll see I’ll always chase the sun
When backed against a gun
I’m reaching like a bird
I’m always undisturbed
Heavy rain may fall
Heavy rain may fall
You’ll see I’ll always chase the sun
No matter if I’m done
I’m reaching like a bird
I’m always undisturbed
Heavy rain may fall
Heavy rain may fall

Yeah yeah yeah
I’m unmatched
Unattached
Sun ahead
No running back
So your gun is actually in vain
I got the need to be feeling the rain on me
No beating is leaving a stain on me
I’m reaching for things you’re too plain to see
I’m on my path
You don’t wanna crash
So you better be clearing the way for me
(Heavy rain may fall)

When running ain’t no more an option
We’re over the point of eruption
It’s time safeguard, time to safeguard my tower
Way too late to stop it
Heavy rain is dropping
It’s time to brace up

You’ll see I’ll always chase the sun
When backed against a gun
I’m reaching like a bird
I’m always undisturbed
Heavy rain may fall
Heavy rain may fall
You’ll see I’ll always chase the sun
No matter if I’m done

I’m reaching like a bird
I’m always undisturbed
Heavy rain may fall
Heavy rain may fall

You’ll see I’ll always chase the sun
When backed against a gun
I’m reaching like a bird
I’m always undisturbed
Heavy rain may fall
Heavy rain may fall

You’ll see I’ll always chase the sun
No matter if I’m done
I’m reaching like a bird
I’m always undisturbed
Heavy rain may fall
Heavy rain may fall

Lyrics/Letra:

Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

El día está pa’ bote y playa
El día está pa’ bote y playa
Y para pasarme de la raya.
En la arena sobre la toalla,
Ese plancito nunca falla.
Esta nena tiene fans
Y el corazón partío, como Sanz
Muchos son los que me tiran, pero
Pocos son los que me dan.

Soy selectiva, poca trayectoria,
Normal,
Por razones obvias
Al amor le cogí fobia,
Perro que me escriba pantallazo y pa' su novia
Nadie va a decirme cómo me debo comportar
Pueden opinar, pero

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera
Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Con vista al mar, reservé el hotel
Ya me prendí con un solo coctel
Me puse poca ropa pa' mostrar la piel
La abeja reina está botando miel

Aun huele a verano aquí
¿Qué tiene de malo? Sí,
Eso es para usarlo y

Mi cuerpo está diciendo…

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Aun huele a verano aquí
¿Qué tiene de malo? Sí
Eso es para usarlo y

Mi cuerpo está diciendo…

Aun huele a verano aquí
Y eso es para usarlo, si
Hoy algo me gano aquí,

Ay,

Ahh, se pasa rico soltera
Y ahora las lobas…

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Estoy suelta y ahora
Puedo hacer lo que quiera
Se pasa rico soltera

Ay que rico…mira que rico
Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Pa’ que ese cabrón
Cuando me vea le duela
Se pasa rico soltera

Yo tengo derecho de portarme mal
Pa’ pasarla bien
Pa’ que ese cabrón
Cuando me vea le duela
Se pasa rico soltera
