►"Rain" sheet music here: http://mnot.es/2kkVxez

Our original song, Rain, started with Zack while he was watching an episode of House. There was a beautiful chord progression at the end of the episode that inspired him to create the beginning cello hook that starts Rain. From there, we wrote the melodies that bring the song to life. The chorus melody was actually written a while before Zack wrote the hook for Rain, but we felt that it fit the song perfectly once we began writing it. We named it Rain because the beginning cello hook that Zack plays reminded us of rain drops. Since we're from Arizona, rain has a special place in our hearts because it doesn’t rain a lot here.

This song has quickly become one of our most popular songs; it is now our third most viewed video in less than a year! Thank you for listening, everybody!

Special thanks to Eastman Strings for donating the instruments used in this video. 🎻🎻🎻

Virtuosity means masterly perfection, the highest degree of artistic skills. It is a special state where the artist overcomes technical difficulties without extra effort to fully indulge in the joy of music making.

At Haydn's concerts, barriers were set up to control the frantic crowd.

But live instruments have fallen into the background by the 21st century.

At the same time, there are three artists who feel a burning desire to prove that classical music has not lost anything from its power and that classical instruments have a place in today's mainstream musical world.

This is the Rise of the Instruments.

"Suffocate" Lyrics

Eclipsing weight
Strangled by every mistake
The wind will hush your cries
In the storm of your restless fate

Haunting pride
Morals defied
Are you conscious behind the knife
Or is it just another disguise

Drink from me

Take it now
Take it now
Everything that I have
Leaving nothing left

Eclipsing weight
Strangled by every mistake
Branded by all your failures
A feeling that you can’t shake
Eclipsing weight
Shut your lying mouth
Are you conscious behind the knife?
It all comes crashing down

Burdened by our connection
I long for separation
In the waining glow
Every breath tries hard to escape
Your reign is over now
Have you found your grave?

Suffocate

I will dig until I find the fucking root
I suffered because of you
I will dig until I find the fucking root
I suffered because of you

Artificial Crippled Saints

The federation says "No, you may not go!"
The count of yays has dimmed to nil
The oppressed cry out on your behalf
Tyranny becomes the thrill

To beat it has become my one obsession
Not in summer its my choice
Can the flies uproot the house of trumpets?
Can a Lee disrupt my voice?

Pouting does no good to you
Theres a foot of mourning — maybe one or two
Don’t chastise the ones whom you revere
For they're the ones who pay your dues
They're the ones who pay your dues

Broken hedge surrounds my unkempt fences
With machetes can’t convince
The maddening crowd leaks a humming census
Of the things I can't resist.

The township wore a zero flag for me
Wrapped around upon my neck
Seek ye not — at this time I flee
Ollie with a creaking deck

Tell me your name, You’re vain.
Is is locked with pleasure or laced with pain?
Freaking out, y'all, is no choice for me
A dollar is a fleeting thing
A dollar is a fleeting thing

Laced with fentynol, send them to jail
Blast the pieces o’er the rail
Portion out the running all along
Spoiled by the nature song

Force a key into a crevice, ah no
Spike the engine to be revved
Down we go for show, there are no chi, no
Damn the wheels and don’t let go

Cancel the nature. Cancel the cleft
Ride on a spacious ship
Cancel the culture, they’re blind to me
Underground is all that’s left

Dawn day's a freaking day
Mixed with Jordan and the saints
Nighttime is going strong I’d say
Artificial crippled saints ......

========= Soldier Of Heaven LYRICS ==========

I won’t be coming home
I won’t be going anywhere
I will guard this post forever
Here on the alpine slope where I did my final stand I shall remain
Among the ice and snow that binds me to this mountain

A force of nature too strong, sent from above
Where spirits lead the way, the winds will never fade

White Friday, I’ll take the
Stairway to heaven
I’m sky high, when I die
I’ll be immortal
Forever, I never
I won´t return to
Blood Mountain, I am the
Soldier of heaven

I saw the end of war
I watched the soldiers come and go
And I kept my watch forever
So many brave men fell in the battles that were raging down below
I have seen it all but none will hear my story

All of these years I have been frozen in time
I cried for spring to come but here, winter remain

I always dreamed that I would, serve high above
Where spirits lead the way, the winds will never fade

========= Historic Fact =============

High above in the alps close to heaven, in the most extreme circumstances, men fought and protected the borders during WWI. At 23:30 on April 17, 1916, the Italians, who were up against the Austro-Hungarian Empire, detonated 5,000kg of Nitro-Gelatine to secure the Col di Lana summit.

"Handshake With Hell"

Lead – Amott

Collective consciousness
Synapses between us
We pierce the sky with fists
We shroud the Earth in dust

Bow, sit down, take a knee
Before powers that be
We’re here to spread the flame
Welcome to the game

And after all is said and done
Since the moon eclipsed the sun
Can you feel the wrath of truth?
Does it burn you like abuse?

Lead – Amott

Come along to the killing grounds
It’s execution day
The grip of a thousand hands
Squeezes the life from supremacy

And after all is said and done
When the dark delays the dawn
Walk your path towards the reaper
Learn that hell is other people!

Chorus:
Obey
As we
Decay
Buy me a lobotomy

Fools never cease to amaze
Keep digging your grave
A lobotomy

Down here for eternity
Where fire and ice meet
You burnt the world above
We rule the world beneath

And after all is said and done
Before a new day has begun
Bid your worries all goodbye
Flee the pan, into the fire!

Fool me once and I’m numb
Twice and I’m dumb
Thrice, I won’t be fooled again

Fool me once and I’m done
Twice I succumb
To a handshake with hell

In the end, we only reap what we have sown
Can’t leave well enough alone
The world’s at stake
Under an oath that cannot break

Lead – Amott
Lead - Loomis

Chorus:
Obey
As we
Decay
Buy me a lobotomy

Fools never cease to complain
Keep digging your grave
A lobotomy

Lyrics:

What a beautiful cage
Synthetic sunrise
Another day another race
Tell me what’s on your mind
Misery man made
You know It’s all in your head
They’ll be bleeding you dry oh even when you’re dead

No rest for the wicked
When the wicked are the ones
they’re making profit
Out of all of us
God bless
The machine
The kings the queens
The mortal deities
Save our souls
Save our souls
Save our souls
They’re our souls
They’re our souls
They’re our souls

They made the game
Stacked in their favour
Then they create the hate
They’re playing us
So Don’t you dare ever say
That’s it’s all in our heads
We’ll be cheering to the sky
When you’re on your deathbed

The creature that leaders
Just a bunch of hungry world eaters
Soul stealers they’re demons
Long live the noble grim reapers

No rest for the wicked
When the wicked are the ones
they’re making profit
Out of all of us
God bless
The machine
The kings the queens
The mortal deities
Save our souls
Save our souls
Save our souls
They’re our souls
They’re our souls

They’re our souls
We decide
If we make it out alive
Open your eyes
Rise and shine
It’s our time
To do or die
No rest for the wicked
When the wicked are the ones
they’re making profit
Out of all of us
God bless
The machine
The kings the queens
The mortal deities
Save our souls
Save our souls
Save our souls
They’re our souls
They’re our souls
They’re our souls

Lyrics:
Across the water, across the sand
She will, ride again
Across the sea, across the sky
He will, be born to ride

Say it again
Outlaws, Outlaws til the end
Scream it again
Outlaws, Outlaws, Outlaws til the end

Back out the door
No turning back
Hush now baby here comes a Honey Trap
Feel the back of my hand
Back against the wall
Hush now baby no time to cry for hope

Say it again
Outlaws, Outlaws til the end
Scream it again
Outlaws, Outlaws, Outlaws til the end

I'm coming to get ya'

I'm coming again, you better roll
I'm coming again, I'm coming again, again
I'm coming again, you better roll
I'm coming again, I'm coming again, again

Say it again
Outlaws, Outlaws til the end
Scream it again
Outlaws, Outlaws, Outlaws til the end
Outlaws, Outlaws, Outlaws til the end

Til the end

Lyrics:

Am I a dreamer, believer, or overachiever?
Imposter syndrome has got me feeling
Mad. Mad
Am I a loser, abuser for trying to choose
A better life, that’s out of reach?
It’s mad. Mad

I’m gonna sell my soul, it’s a sad way to go
I’m running out of time, I’ve nowhere to go
I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
God, I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
I’m gonna find my way out of the dark
Search my soul. Find my star
I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
God, I’m so messed up

Am I a little erratic or over-ecstatic
From things that have happened, that led me to madness?
Ah ah
Took the path that was scary and said my Hail Mary
The edge of the world, there’s no way left to save me
Ah ah ah

I’m gonna sell my soul, it’s a sad way to go
I’m running out of time, I’ve nowhere to go
I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
God, I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
I’m gonna find my way out of the dark
Search my soul. Find my star
I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
God, I’m so messed up

I’m better off alone
I’m better off alone
I’m better off alone

I feel my regret sometimes
Creeping into my mind
I feel my regret sometimes
Wanting to stay oh

I’m gonna sell my soul, it’s a sad way to go
I’m running out of time, I’ve nowhere to go
I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
God, I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
I’m gonna find my way out of the dark
Search my soul. Find my star
I’m so messed up. I’m so messed up
God, I’m so messed up

That I’m better off alone
I’m better off alone
I’m better off alone
Ooh I’m better off alone
I’m better off alone
I’m better off alone

LYRICS:
summer mood
hot sand under my feet
cold beer, cheap wine
yeah that’s all that we need
we got the moves
we got the moves
And everybody’s like
oh fuck yeah, let’s do it again

we got the moves
we got the moves
and everybody’s like
yesterday we drank too much
let’s do it again
we got the groove
we got the groove
so everybody put your hands straight up
tonight is the night

we are young
we are free
sippin’ on booze on a sunny beach
we’re alive
we believe
that summer time memories
will never fade away

we‘re living the good life, high life
everybody wants that hot vibe
we wanna feel it just all over and over again
more, just give me more
‘cause we’re addicted to the groove
oh yeah, we do it again

we got the moves
we got the moves
and everybody’s like
yesterday we drank too much
let’s do it again
we got the groove
we got the groove
so everybody put your hands straight up
tonight is the night

we are young
we are free
sippin’ on booze on a sunny beach
we’re alive
we believe
that summer time memories
will never fade away
will never fade away
will never fade away

we don‘t need no club
all we need is the sun
yeah we will rave like hell
‘till the weekend is done

we got the moves
we got the moves
and everybody put your hands straight up
tonight is the night
we say

döp dödödö döp
döp dödödö döp

we got the moves
we got the moves
and everybody‘s like
yesterday we drank too much
let‘s do it again
we got the groove
we got the groove
so everybody put your hands straight up
tonight is the night

everybody hands up
we don‘t need a damn club
get down ‘cause we‘re gonna party like hell
and we won‘t stop until the sun up
hits our glowing eyes like BOOM BOOM
we gon‘ put the track on repeat

we are young
we are free
sippin’ on booze on a sunny beach
we’re alive
we believe
that summer time memories

we are young
we are free
sippin’ on booze on a sunny beach
we’re alive
we believe
that summer time memories
will never fade away
will never fade away
will never fade away

Our new single “Skin & Bones” is out now!

Stream/download at https://lnk.to/skinbones

They say that everything is black and white
You’re in the wrong or you do what’s right
But nothing’s fair
No one fucking cares
All I ever learned was tragedy

Life is gonna leave you quicker than you know
Slip right through your hands when you think you’ve got the rope
I’ve seen it
We’re all, we’re all
We’re all just skin
We’re all just skin and bones

The Ides of March, just another sign
We made amends, but never said goodbye
And now you’re gone
Everything is lost
All I ever learned is

"Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why."

So as I surround myself with memories
And as I re-read this tattered book
I won’t weep when I get to the end
I’ll turn to the first page and read it again

These are the passages that made us
who we are
who we were
These are the episodes that showed us
who we are
who we were

“Skin & Bones’ is a deeply emotional song, written about the sudden loss of a person who was once very close to me. Everyday we’re stuck in our own heads worrying about trivial things and never thinking about just how fragile we are. Life can be gone in an instant. I lost one of the greatest people I ever knew.

Recording out in Joshua Tree, in the middle of the desert, made it feel like we were starting with a totally blank canvas. Without external distractions, I found myself turning my attention inward. How did I really feel? What did I really want to say about it? And once I found that, the performance just poured out of me. Talking, singing, yelling, screaming…it’s all raw emotion in this track.”

Lyrics (by Julian Lennon):
I Should Have Known Lyrics (Julian Lennon)

If I could say to you
and you could say to me,
love is not enough,
to keep our devotion,
‘cos time and time again,
you've disappeared and then,
you've come home to me
and played my emotions.

And I, I should have known before,
that you would break my heart
and I'm trapped in this lonely room,
because you broke my heart,
I should have known right from the start.
You showed me how to laugh,
you showed me how to cry,
I gave you everything,
my love and devotion.
You tore my life apart,
you killed my inner heart,
you raped every part of me,
you raped my emotions.
And I, I should have known before,
that you would break my heart,
and I’m trapped in this lonely room,
because you broke my heart,
I should have known right from the start.
And I, I should have known before,
that you would break my heart
and I'm trapped in this lonely room,
because you broke my heart,
I should have known,
I should have known…
