The height of Migos-mania was one of those had-to-be-there moments that made all three members stars in their own right. A decade later, Quavo is on his third album, QRÖMELIFE, and taking stock of just how far he's come. The project, which was executive produced by Pharrell, captures what has made Quavo one of the most influential artists of his generation while also painting him in a new light.

The Atlanta rapper sat down for a conversation with Yung Miami, who shared a label with Quavo early in their respective careers. The pair talk about what QRÖMELIFE means to him, the Migos era, fatherhood and cementing his legacy. And, naturally, they play a few rounds of Resha Roulette that result in a footrace.

In this past clip from My Expert Opinion Ep. #26, legendary West Coast icons Daz Dillinger and Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound sit down with Math Hoffa, Dutchie Man & Uncle Seth for an unfiltered conversation about Death Row Records, Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, Biggie, the East Coast vs. West Coast era, and the history that helped shape hip-hop. Daz and Kurupt break down the making of “New York, New York,” how Biggie ended up on the record, the controversy surrounding the song and video, Funk Flex, Tupac’s reaction, the Source Awards, and what it was really like representing the West Coast during one of hip-hop’s most intense periods.

The conversation goes even deeper into the Death Row era, working with Dr. Dre, Tupac’s recording process, “Hail Mary,” “Hit ’Em Up,” producing music, the evolution from analog recording to digital production, and the lessons Daz learned about contracts, royalties and music ownership.
