Pale Waves - Perfume

Smitten - 20th September 2024 - Pre-Order Now - https://palewaves.ffm.to/smitten

Lyrics

My mother said when I want something I never let it go
Call me obsessed but I don’t mind just as long as it’s all mine
When I saw you I knew it was over
I just laid down and surrendered
Oh laying in the fields with you
Please tell me that we can we make this last forever
Forever

I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
My girl
I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
My world
My world yeah

Sleep beside me
Come and see my dreams my fears and stay right here
Taste me with your mouth
Believe me I can give you what you need
Your perfume on my skin
Can our love just begin
Won’t you let down your guard and walk into my arms
I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
My girl
I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
I wanna make, I wanna make you
My world
My world yeah

LYRICS:
I see you trying to salvage
What’s nothing more than a habit
That we’ve both been calling love
That just isn’t enough
I tried so hard to convince me
Convince myself I’m happy
I’m not who I thought I was
And that just isn’t your fault
Baby let’s face it
We can’t save it
It’s too late to fake a smile
You’re in denial
But we’re going down, down, down
So baby, rephrase it
Nothing’s wasted
But there isn’t gonna be a revival
You’re in denial
But we’re going down, down
Down in a spiral
I didn’t wanna believe it, believe it
Believe what my gut was screaming
Let’s just go our separate ways
Don’t have that look on your face
You don’t have to be sorry
You know it’s already hard enough
So I don’t wanna wait
It’s already too late
Baby let’s face it
We can’t save it
It’s too late to fake a smile
You’re in denial
But we’re going down, down, down

Lyrics
I have a picture pinned to my wall
An image of you and of me and we're laughing, we're loving it all
Look at our life now, we're tattered and torn
We fuss and we fight and delight in the tears and we cry until dawn

Hold me now, warm my heart
Stay with me, let loving start, let loving start
Hold me now, warm my heart
Stay with me, let loving start, let loving start

Heart Live At The Royal Albert Hall

DVD - http://smarturl.it/HEARTRAHDVD
Blu Ray - http://smarturl.it/HEARTRAHBR
CD - http://smarturl.it/HEARTRAHCD

In a career spanning over 40 years it seems inconceivable that they have never performed at London’s most famous venue The Royal Albert Hall. That changed in June 2016 as the band appeared with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra adding some a classical vibe to hits like These Dreams, Alone and What about Love, they also reinvented old favourites like Dreamboat Annie and Magic Man while rocking the house to the rafters with Crazy on You and Barracuda. This very special show was most certainly not just nostalgia as the band and their extra 68 backing musicians also played tracks from their 16th album Beautiful Broken

Sentire Miley Cyrus che parla di Flowers, di quanto le sia costata in termini emotivi, e poi ascoltarla cantare e modificare il testo per il pubblico è IMPAGABILE.

Lyrics:

I pictured a rainbow
You held it in your hands
I had flashes
But you saw the plan
I wandered out in the world for years
While you just stayed in your room
I saw the crescent
You saw the whole of the moon
The whole of the moon
Hmm, you were there in the turnstiles, with the wind at your heels
You stretched for the stars and you know how it feels to reach too high
Too far
Too soon
You saw the whole of the moon
I was grounded
While you filled the skies
I was dumbfounded by truth
You cut through lies
I saw the rain dirty valley
You saw Brigadoon
I saw the crescent
You saw the whole of the moon
I spoke about wings
You just flew
I wondered, I guessed and I tried
You just knew
I sighed
But you swooned, I saw the crescent
You saw the whole of the moon
The whole of the moon
with a torch in your pocket and the wind at your heels
You climbed on the ladder and you know how it feels to get too high
Too far
Too soon
You saw the whole of the moon
The whole of the moon, hey yeah!
Unicorns and cannonballs, palaces and piers
Trumpets, towers and tenements
Wide oceans full of tears
Flags, rags ferryboats
Scimitars and scarves
Every precious dream and vision
Underneath the stars, yes, you climbed on the ladder
With the wind in your sails
You came like a comet
Blazing your trail too high
Too far
Too soon
You saw the whole of the moon

In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed – ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).

In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

Lyrics

Such Small Ale

We should step out
From under this cloud
Take chance to meet daylight
Abandon the crowd
Let’s pack off the ghosts
So late to their beds
With a hand-tied of lavender
To gentle their rest

What have we here for tether?
Our own restraint
Which sprite are we appeasing with this
Long-recited litany of grievous shame?
Heathens brewing virtue from a
Reservoir of pain
With life for drink from brim to brink
Who’d choose to sink in
Such small ale?

We should step out
From under this shroud
Warming bones in the dapple light
With the choosing still ours

What is here to keep us
But our own restraint
Whose sins are we redeeming
With our much-beleaguered retinue of bleeding saints?
What heathen waits to rest by sleeping?
Hold your creeping tears to fill a pail
For pity’s sake
It’s such small ale

For what else is there to keep us
But our own restraint
What nature do we sweeten in our reservoir
Of bitter rain
This drowning game
Blow these seething years to fill a sail
With life for drink
From brim to brink
Who’d choose to sink in
Such small ale?
We wont sink in
Such small ale.

Lyrics:

Do you ever have that dream
where you're walking naked down the street
and everyone just stares
Do you ever feel so deep
that you speak your mind
to put others straight to sleep
You wonder if anybody cares
Sometimes I think I'm the only one
whose day turned out unlike it had begun

And I feel bare naked
And I just can't take it
I'm getting jaded
No I just can't fake it anymore
'Cuz I'm bare naked
And I know life's what you make it
Wish I could float away
to some other day

SELF AWARE LYRICS

I’m amazing bitch and you know it
I don’t have to say shit cuz I show it
You said I think I’m all that well you thought right
That explains why you dreamin bout me last night

People ask me why I gotta slay
Santa Clause to these bitches, giveaway
Gas it up for these bitches, Bobby Flay
I got bops lined up like a buffet
Self aware goddamn I’m amazing
Wrote a hit again and it don’t even phase me
Improvised it like I’m Wayne Brady
“Who’s Line” bitch it’s mine you can pay me

Poppin through fresh off the flight right now
Sleepy ass n**** tear a naps ass up
I’mma keep on smoking while I’m giving you these vocals
Best believe I never left but the key stay right

Singin on key what you know about
Oh you ain’t know I was from these parts
Melodyne is your best friend baby
How you flat and sharp all up in your gravy
Cool as a fan finer than your man
I’m the freedom that you wish he had
I only really fuck with sports in slow mo
Dirty nails, dirty dick, no bueno

Poppin through fresh off the flight right now
Silly little bitch make you laugh out loud
I’mma keep on smoking while I’m giving you these vocals
Best believe I never left but the key stay right
