M Huncho didn't fool around in 2023. "Of Course," "any minute," "Conspiracy Charges," "crazy titch" - there's more, too, but you get the idea. Dude's on a roll. Those tracks are all part of the creative explosion that's captured in 'my neighbors don't know,' perhaps the Brit rapper's most potent project yet. That's saying alot, because there have been a few winners in the masked man's canon. It's been six years since he turned heads with his 'Mad About Bars' freestyle session, and dropped his debut EP, 'Get Out.' That aerated voice, that swerving flow, the fierce but gentle sound of his work - they all add up to an unmistakable style that's become beloved by fans and critics alike. When he followed up 2022's 'Chasing Euphoria' with this new LP, he revitalized his interest in a tougher sound with a "grimey element" up front. "I'm back on my shit, back on my trap shit," he told on interviewer. It fits nicely. Check these performances of "where you been" and "g.a.b.o.s." Each are as ominous as they are dreamy.
